There's been a ton of speculation lately, and honestly, we all know there’s more to come as time rolls on. It’s super important to recognize the recent gains in the Bitcoin market, especially hitting another all-time high that caught a lot of short-term traders off guard. So with the current price surge and what’s happening in the market, what do you think is the best short-term strategy? Should we jump in now or hold off a bit? The market could swing in any direction, but we can’t ignore the current positive momentum.

This is not the best time to buy bitcoin but I still think even if the market cool for awhile, it will not be like the last time that led to bear market. We are still going to see all time high, but not just the best time to buy. Those that buy at a good price are always patient. People that misssed this should wait.

My short-term plan is to start to build my buy orders below the all-time high because I was able to miss this new all-time high. I believe there will be some pullbacks anytime and I must have some stablecoins ready to buy the dips.

Already bought when it dipped, that's like the best time to buy no contest although everybody is afraid. As of now, i'm just watching the market and see how BTC gonna play out, I still believe BTC can reach $120k easily in the near future since price action looking really good. There's no short term plan for me as of now. BTC's future prospect is too good to be prematurely sold / take profit.

I don't agree that this new ATH was unexpected. It is quite the opposite. I believe many are waiting for this. Look around you, everything is all about Bitcoin adoption. It has now become normal to hear big companies buying Bitcoin spot ETF, buying MSTR to get Bitcoin exposure, even making Bitcoin a part of their treasury. Short term plans are not part of my plans. If you have money that is intended for DCA, just stick to your schedule and forget about the price. Let us all be forward looking. Why plan when the price is still $110,000? There is still $200,000 soon.

Couldn't agree more with this take, literally everyone in this forum, specifically in speculation board have been calling new ATH and everybody is accumulating hence not that much people surprised. So this isn't really an unexpected even, rather than that, people already see it coming from far away and it's about when it will happen and it's happening right now. Won't be surprised if BTC is going even higher probably doing 50% price rally from here on since people have been calling it many times. Definitely no guarantee that will happen but it's plausible.

Well I do think we are in a 'bull run' now. So I am going to stack more stats before price of Bitcoin does get more higher. And continue to hodl. I did almost sell some today but I did not glad I did not get some 'fomo'.

It will depend. If you're a holder, the best short term plan is to sell your assets, and when I mean sell your assets, I mean doing it in a DCA method same as when you're buying, but in an opposite way. That's what I'm currently doing with the Bitcoins that I'm holding right now, and I'm still holding some altcoins especially ETH. Is is the right time to buy? If it's for short term and I mean days to weeks, you might make some small profit still, but I would not recommend it because the risk is high compared to the possible rewards that you will get. It would be better to wait for a correction before buying some Bitcoins. Just don't get FOMOed please. Now if you're a trader, I guess it wouldn't matter what the price would be because traders especially those futures traders have a strategy on whether the market is going up, or going down. Most of them have a strategy whether they're scalping, or day trading, or even swing trading.

As far as Bitcoin investment goes there is no short term plan for me, I still DCA with amount that I can afford despite the ATH because I have the fund to buy. Although there are speculations about how high price can go in this bull run $120k, $150, $200k and above but nobody is certain so it is not advisable to buy in lump sum. The only plan for me is if you want to take profit in this circle you should have a price target in mind to take it and be hopeful that it hits the mergin that you have in mind before bear run starts.

That will be up to you because those who invested in Bitcoin, they may still buy Bitcoin whether if the price increase or decrease. They don't think much about the rising of the price but they will focus to continue buying. But if you trade Bitcoin, you can wait for the next correction to buy. Yes, many speculation happen but we don't have follow them because we should analyze and search for what happen to the market. We can wait and monitor the market movement while searching for the chance to buy. The investor will not sell their Bitcoin for short term especially if the price still far from their target price. They can hodl Bitcoin for more and not care with the price now.

It depends. Like what Strategy is doing, while many people are still hesitant because they think the price has gone too high or bitcoin will continue to fall further in the recent correction, and think this is not a good time to buy. Strategy still accumulate bitcoin regardless of the price because they have a long term strategy and strongly believe that bitcoin price will rise to $1 million. Likewise, if you have a long-term strategy or believe bitcoin can hit $200k this year like many investors on the forum, then there is no reason to stop you from buying now. Because compared to the $200k target, bitcoin is trading at $111k, which is still a good price to collect.

It’s a very good strategy most especially if you’re going for long term, every buy position in bitcoin with long term plans is a good buy, I expect bitcoin to actually pull back to below $110k because the support isn’t strong enough yet to hold buying below that price will definitely be a good buy because i expect bitcoin to get to $150k region this year and a buy from this region is like 40% profit. So my advice is to DCA when it pull back gradually and not expect and wait for a huge pull back I expect bitcoin to reach $200k but the time for that is what I don’t agree with, this year the $200k price can still be reached as the market simply needs to do a 90% pump from this region to get there, but realistically anyone investing into bitcoin at this price should be doing so for a very long term plan, a profit target of $200k can or cannot be reached this year, so each investor should be able to make provisional risk management for that

I have no short-term plan and my long-term plan remains unchanged: to continue accumulating. I still don't have an amount of bitcoin and other assets that I consider to be in surplus to stop accumulating. Although since I have a not bad net worth I have lifted my foot off the accelerator a bit.

Traders should sell and wait to buy back when the price dips. As for me, I am still stacking up my portfolio with my regular weekly DCA irrespective of the price of bitcoin because I believe the future is brighter than $111k price for bitcoin. I don't intend to sell a dime of my bitcoin holding currently, because I am still a low coiner. Maybe, when I have reach my over accumulation stage, I will diversify into other asset that's not in line with bitcoin. A new investor without any bitcoin should start buying and shouldn't wait for the dip.

Perhaps I am one of the people who are sceptical about buying Bitcoin at the current prices, and my hesitation is not without good reasons. First, Bitcoin is overbought at these current levels, it's very unwise to buy an asset at that level, regardless of how long you are keeping it. Cheaper assets are better for more gains. Second, how much can you possibly gain before it starts selling again? Can you make more than 0.5x profit? This depends on your investment plan too. The response should guide you. Lastly, I prefer to buy Bitcoin when it has just begun a bull run, and not when it is nearing its peak for the cycle.

Maybe if I could take some time to trade by taking long position with lower leverage, because we still have more probability of getting to more all time high before the end of this month, if I trade now, I've taken part of the benefits of the bullrun this season and make some profits as a result of the all time high. Another thing I could do is to continue with holding my bitcoin portfolio being intact till I get to a satisfied level of all time high for this season before selling or releasing, just as I've always thought, that the market will be more profitable if hodl as we launch into the bullrun second stage.

It is a very good decision that you still maintain the mentality of buying continuously through DCA regularly, there are many who think "now the price is too high so they will invest after the price drops, but later they go far beyond their reach, because Bitcoin continues to rise regularly. No matter what the price, you must have the mentality of buying continuously. A real investor never looks at the price, buying continuously can achieve real profits in the long term, and speaking of potential, the price of Bitcoin is only the beginning stage, if you hold it for a long time, it is possible to make much bigger profits than the current one.

I cannot say this is the best time to buy, but I believe this is still the right time to buy bitcoin. The fact that we are seeing right now is a bullish market, and bitcoin price keeps skyrocketing, then there’s no reason not to buy while the price has not reached its peak yet. It’s an effective way of doing DCA in order to increase the amount of bitcoin  in one’s portfolio, regardless of what will be the future price of bitcoin.

My short term plan is to continue to buy Bitcoin because it is looking like Bitcoin will not go down below 30% of the current price anytime soon. There have been many players in the business now and many are joining through institutional investing and ETFs, if that trend continues, Bitcoin will continue to experience serious demand that will keep the price rising. This is why I'm not looking at selling anytime soon rather I will continue to buy more Bitcoin to meet my targets of 2 BTC before I get to a certain age.
