Are you serious right now? When bitcoin has fallen from almost $100 thousand to $65 thousand, you are asking what will happen this year to crypto. You asked this question when bear market is already what is happening.

I still feel we might experience a bullish market  after the sudden fall in the price I'm anticipating another all time high possibly around $150k to 200k by middle 2026 the sudden fall in the price might not necessarily defines the entire year as a bearish year.

What is happening now is that people are not interested in bitcoin for now, that has been what that crashed the market to $65000. People will not just suddenly have interest in buying bitcoin, it can take months before having interest in buying bitcoin. There will still be months that bitcoin will be around some prices and stayed their and maybe fall a little. Anyone can be right or wrong but this is my own opinion. The bear market might last before the bull market will begin.

Of course, investors are diversifying to gold and that's why you see gold increasing in price because they believe gold is a safe haven asset in times like this that the geopolitical crisis ongoing and other factors too. I expect bitcoin to be in bearish till December because they selling rate pressure will limit at a stage.

I think everything has been quite clear so far, and we have been in a bear market for a while now. And given the current situation, from the micro to the macro level, the bear market is unlikely to end anytime soon, and things could even get worse in the coming months. 2026 is a year of bears, and it could last longer than we think. I do not want to disappoint you, but I have to be frank, that is just your expectation, nothing more.  By the way, Bitcoin began to decline gradually starting in 11/2025, not suddenly, and there are many signs indicating that the bull market has ended. But many people did not accept that reality.

Well, it's only been one month and six days of 2026, and there's still a long way to go until the end of the year. As things stand, most of us think we are in a bear market and that 2026 will be negative, but no one can know for sure what will happen, and the year could end on a positive note. What is clear is that this is a matter of speculation. I am going to report the thread so that it can be moved.

Well we started this year in a bearish momentum, since this is the first quarter maybe those whales who are selling aggressively just want to take their profit for now. Not only crypto, every market (Gold, Silver , stock) are also facing this downturn. It's still too early to determine the fate of crypto this year. I believe in the next 2 quarters of the year the market momentum will change as they will want invest their me money again. Last year was good for Bitcoin, but other cryptos suffered (especially memecoins because of lack of real use and no hype). And also the situation that is happening in the world is also adding fuel to the dips especially Trump's Tarrifs . So let's hope this year will be good.

According to this speculative analysis, the prospect looks bleak: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-record-10k-drop-model-93-5k-only-return-2028 In a grim outlook for Bitcoin bulls, crypto trader and analyst Rekt Capital said that it could be 2028 before a true rebound occurs. Using the BTC price cycle model as a guide, including a key moving average crossover at the end of January, Rekt Capital foresees a classic bear market year for 2026. ... The extremely fast diminishing return rate is finding its way into such predictions. In my view, there are two hopes left: a) Bitcoin recovers and picks up speed "organically", through a quicker recovery than usual that will surprise investors in a positive way b) The powers that be have been suppressing the price in recent years and will somewhat loosen their grip when they deem the moment is right Many BTC holders will not await the outcome of this experiment but will use the current consolidation phase to exit the space for good.

Drawing the view from today market I think it's unwise for one to conclude about the bullish nature of the market now even when it's obvious that bear market is deeply creeping in with the current price of BTC and others altcoin and shitcoin that has make the market reddish. If the market will full bounced back it can be this early quarter of 2026 because no signs instead still dipping, beside some of this war threat from US and Iran, isreal and others parts of the world have some invisible impacts in dipping the market as most of this are more of negative news rather than positive, in my own view though stand to be corrected market can't green speedily now mostly this quarter of the year.

dude it not looking good so far, everyone has a different opinion right now but from the evidence of the way its going its not looking very positive. the real long term investors in crypto are certainly hoping it will sort itself out given time but alot of people have lost alot of money in recent weeks. then there is other hoping it drops more so they can buy in at the right time in order to make a quick flip. time will tell

A straightforward answer would be more bearish by speculations but we have eya in the bulls aswell. The bias has obviously been more bearish recently than bearish and speculations has it that we may have exhausted the bull moves and it is time for some bearish moves, as we know the bearish moves does last even longer due to many factors that often surrounds it. I speak more for Bitcoin because  that is what I seem to be observing the most, I don't know about others just should it be that they are part of your speculations as crypto.

Although I believe in market cycles and based on what is happening, it is clear that 2026 is highly likely to be a bear market year. However, anything can happen and there are still 11 months left in the year, so I do not want to rule out any scenario. In my opinion, we need to closely monitor the market and macroeconomic situation in order to make appropriate adjustment. Instead of stubbornly clinging to a single scenario in a volatile and unpredictable market like Bitcoin.

You can already see that the market is in a bearish season, now no one can say how the market will be for the whole year. And crypto refers to all currencies so I don't know about other currencies and it will be seen that some currencies will lose value which will not be possible to recover. But in the case of Bitcoin, if the price of Bitcoin drops a lot, even if it reaches the bottom, Bitcoin will still rise again and make ATH. Since the price of Bitcoin has dropped a lot and may drop a little more. There may be a bearish market this year but towards the end, the price of Bitcoin may increase again.

Based on current happenings Bitcoin might be heading into the bear season. Investors are still sceptical of investing in risky assets because of global economic instability. They prefer to move their funds to assets that are considered safe havens. So my prediction is that this year might be red for Bitcoin. No need to panic because it's an opportunity to buy the deep.

If the price remains longer below $80,000, the more certain it becomes that $80,000-$96,000 is the best range we'll see this year. it's a good year for those looking to build long-term positions or invest in Bitcoin through DCA. For other crypto, it will be difficult to determine the market direction, but the recent wave of corrections is certainly not final.

Many people are still asking if this year will be bullish? I think it's difficult to see the market declining more and more in a short period of time, so the $80K range may be ideal this year is good, it could be that prices continue to decline due to uncertainty. Yep, it's time to build a bigger portfolio during the downturn, DCA is probably the best strategy or they want to buy DIP, it doesn't matter, but while there is a chance to go down, we buy it if we have a lot of spare money.

Bearish if i may speculate. 2026 is looking to be bearish, the next bearish move that may happen any soon, we may not recover from it so quickly as we did in a few hours from what just happened. We are still fresh into the year, not even concluded with the first Quarter, as time goes on, our sentiments might change afterwards, based on a few reasons or observations.

Well, here's some taste of it. Tbh no one will ever know and you don't have to be a genius to exactly where it's going at the moment. I think the current rally will just be a dead cat bounce but the sentiment will still be bearish. But, one thing is for sure, we're here for the long term. Way up!
