What wallets do you prefer for Desktop and Mobile?
I personally go with Electrum and Bluewallet.
Which bitcoin wallet are you using in 2026?

I use both desktop on mobile wallet that are non-custodial, also in addition, I can't deny the fact that I still make use of custodial storage in the likes of centralized exchange, maybe for occasional trading or exchange of my coins to fiat, while the main wallet I'm using a fully non-custodial, not this year alone do I start using such, but even in previous years.
Does the new year also come with new wallet usage? It's still same wallet, open source and reputable like we have always used.
If you are using cex for just small transaction and conversion of crypto to fiat then they might now be much of an issue. The problem lies where people become lazy and choose to use exchanges as wallet instead...
They only are risking their coins not securing them. Get that self custodian wallet and be your own bank..
Bitcoin Wallets should not be treated like physical leather wallets. You should generally stick to the ones that are the most tested, the most well known and the fastest to offer a fix to any vulnerability. I like that people come up with new, more 'modern' ideas but at the end of the day the main stash you own should sit on the Wallet that is Secure, not on the one that is trending.

I'm sure majority of members on this forum uses non custodial wallets where they have full control over their Bitcoin asset, except a few that might uses non custodial wallets for storing of small amounts of Bitcoin or all other crypto assets. However, there is a dedicated thread by "Lauda" that elaborate more on the different types of wallets suitable for each devices, ranging from Android, IOS and Desktop wallets..
So here is a link.. check it out.... [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?
However, for me, the Bitcoin wallet I use is private..

What I will say is that anyone using any wallet should be very sure they have an idea about the wallet they are using, so they do not have issues while using it. Possibly, they should make inquiries and do research before they use it so that they know what they are signing up for. The wallet I use is electrum wallet because it is convenient for me to use it, and the settings are very easy for me to handle with invting anybody to help me out with it.
I use Electrum on both desktop and mobile, because it's non-custodial, safe, and convenient. I have been using it for years, and never faced any problems with it. I have never been compromised because I make sure I don't do extra things on my devices when I'm holding funds. People often face problems with their wallets when they are constantly downloading and installing useless stuff like apps and games when they don't even know if they are authentic or not because they can contain things like keyloggers or malware that can compromise wallets, etc.
When I was new in the crypto space, I didn't know much, and I didn't even know there are custodial and non-custodial wallets and what are their benefits or drawbacks, so I used to use online wallets, mostly the one from blockchain.com. There used to be another wallet also, I don't remember the name, but it later stopped its services. At that time, I didn't know the importance of using non-custodial wallets, I used to think that wallets which are user-friendly are the best, and most newbies think the same way even today.
I have been using more or less the same wallet for years, probably since I first got interested in Bitcoin. Theres no reason to change something thats already been tried and tested in battle countless times. Im not saying I havent tried other wallets over time, but it was mostly out of curiosity, to see if I was missing something. Electrum meets all the requirements that are important to me.

If only this year, then I don't use any other wallet than Electrum, mainly in mobile, since I have separate wallets offline and online. My offline wallet is in my S9 Plus with a broken LCD, and my watch-only wallet is another mobile S9 Plus, my main phone that is always connected online. I choose this phone because it has a unique feature like an iris scanner. This is the only one that scans my iris, which is an extra security advantage before signing a transaction.
On my laptop it's also Electrum, but it's a watch-only wallet and another wallet like Wasabi. I also have an Electrum on Raspberry Pi with Tails OS.
I have always been using Electrum for a desktop wallet. I never use any mobile bitcoin wallet since I do not use my mobile phone for any cryptocurrency transactions. The Electrum wallet has proven to be one of the best Bitcoin lightweight wallets. I never encountered any problem with Electrum ever since I used it for more than a decade.
I also tried the Full node wallets like Bitcoin Core in the early years, but it takes time to download the full node, with my internet speed being so slow, I shifted to a lightweight wallet and have been using it since then.

It's been a long time since I used a desktop wallet. I'm more into using a mobile wallet this period for my everyday transactions and for Bitcoin storage as well, which is where Electrum comes in. Anytime I'm using my Android device, I use Blue Wallet for iOS, but this period I don't even use my iOS very well anymore, so I'm also using the same wallet choice as you.
You should definitely use a strong wallet to store Bitcoin, because if you store Bitcoin in a strong wallet, Bitcoin will be safe for a long time. For this reason, hard wallets are the first choice, but among software wallets, Electrum wallet is good, but Electrum wallet is not suitable enough to hold Bitcoin for a long time. So if you have the ability, then you can definitely buy a hardware wallet, Bitcoin will be safe in a hardware wallet.
This is a little bit misleading because some newbies might actually be looking at in the wrong direction, there is no reason as to why electrum cannot be used for long term storage it simply depends on how you set up such wallet because if you set it up as an hot wallet then it is risk to use it for long term storage most especially with a huge amount of coins in it because it can be exposed to the internet the longer you keep it there so the security is simply base on how you treat it.
But should the wallet be used as a cold storage like in an airgapped device and rightly set up it will be just as save as any hardware wallet out there and can be used for long term or big amount storage but yet again just like an hardware wallet too it depends on how you safeguard its keys and seed phrases again because they are the main reason for compromization of the wallet
This might sound weird but I do not have a bitcoin wallet on my computer. I use Electrum and I have a mobile device that I bought specifically for my wallets. This eliminates any possibility of my device being infected by any malware because it is always offline.

Stick on my Desktop Electrum wallet as my main Bitcoin wallet, convenient, secured, and it's non custodian walle,t so no worries. Just get a wallet with the seed phrase or private key. But still I have a portfolio on popular exchanges since I usually trade there for convinient then I just put it on the Electrum wallet if I need to save it, I probably have all of the popular exchanges accounts just to have the best rate for P2P transactions.
For me, it's not that bad to put some funds in custodial wallets, just manage it to a certain amount where it wasn't something that is going to destroy your finances, I mean even banks, etc., are custodial wallets where we dont have control, they could easily freeze your bank account at any moment.
Never tried using it on mobile or android I mean never ever noticed that there was a mobile one or an android application for Electrum. Can you recommend the mobile application or not? My main worry is virus, since it's android you usually install a lot and download a lot.

Electrum is certainly a good and reliable wallet, but I believe a multi-currency wallet is better for mobile use. This provides more flexible options for interaction with cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately, the mobile version of Electrum doesn't offer this feature. I'm happy with Trust wallet on my mobile phone, despite the recent incident with their desktop wallet.
Of the desktop wallets, I've preferred Electrum for many years, and by the way, it works flawlessly.
To answer the question in the thread title: the same wallets I used in 2025.

After metamask introduced bitcoin wallet, it has become my primary wallet since I could manage all my wallet including solana, ethereum, and other with the same unified interface.
Although some people are doubting its security because metamask at the end of the day is just a browser extension wallet but it's pretty reliable so far.
Why do you want to know OP?
Anyway, kidding aside, I have used multiple wallets, and I use both a desktop and a mobile app equivalent to it, so it's easy to use and can be used anywhere to transact. In recent days, I have used Phantom Wallet, but the majority of my holdings are in my hardware wallet.
Better to be safe than sorry.

Always hardware wallet and then electrum when I don't need all that security and hassle of pressing that button in the hardware wallet.
Even in 2026 it's still arguably the best combo. Hardware wallet for long term holding, electrum for all the things that don't need security such as to send and receive from CEX back and forth.
Just two wallet since I started my journey in bitcoin.
Electrum wallet for an active transactions so i used this for me weekly transactions and investment when it comes ive seen into a project related to bitcoin or such as staking of course with this market stand we must need find other way to earn extra money.
Trezor for the cold wallet so we know most of our funds we dont use so instead store into the hot wallet ideally transfer into cold wallet for more secure because this need a confirmation with your device before to transact.
