In the world of traditional investing, we can turn to some great books by well-known figures like Peter Lynch, Warren Buffett, and Benjamin Graham. But with how fast things move now, it's tough to find books that really give solid advice for crypto investing. Still, there are definitely some good sources out there. So, who do you think is worth tuning into for crypto insights? Any blogs or podcasts that stand out to you?

I wouldn't call out the names of the sources I listen to or read to because it may be seen as a shill, but hear me out on this - no one knows who to follow and care about from the start. I have lots of lists of such groups / people to follow up and read, but only a small portion of them got what I wanted from them, either on Twitter or Telegram. So the best case would be to get some lists of such people / resources and get into all of them, then to choose what suits your needs best.

Investment basically is the same from real estates, stocks, gold to Bitcoin market. Successful investors have similar successful traits that help them to succeed and gain profit with their initial capital through investment. Depends on their knowledge on what field, they will invest in that market, not in other markets where they don't have necessary knowledge. Because they're the same, you can apply general principles in other markets to Bitcoin market but each market has its special principles that are different than other markets. The bullish case for Bitcoin. The Internet of Money. The little Bitcoin book.

Thanks for the sources provided! Never read any literature on BTC itself, but it's interesting to dig into something like that in the future. Alas, not have much free time to do so.

Everyone has actually valuable insights to share when they start talking about crypto investing. They don’t do it without reliable basis, so before they share their own thoughts and concepts, they have to dig deeply first and do their due diligence to come up with crucial information. So for me, no need to chose and stick only to a single source. Gathering information and ideas from different sources creates more valid and genuine perspective. You just have to do also your own research so you won’t be bias and subjective.

There are actually many books, some of which are paid and others are open source. you cannot learn trading from reading a book, trading requires practice and experience, and you will get better results by creating a Demo account and watching trading learning channels on YouTube. If you are looking for free books, you can read:  - https://github.com/PacktPublishing/Zero-to-Hero-in-Cryptocurrency-Trading  - https://github.com/learn-crypto-trading/learn-crypto-trading.github.io

You don't really need to listen to anyone but Andreas Andropoulos knows his stuff very well. I learned a lot of stuff from him alone. You can find his utube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@aantonop I don't know if he is still active and making new videos but I used to watch him a lot. Even if you watch his old videos, you can sill learn a lot of stuff because he probably answered whatever question you have on your mind about bitcoin in the past. Don't watch the clickbaiters, all they want is clicks. They ain't teaching shit.

Investing in this market follows the same principles than investing in any other market, so if you already have some sources that you trust to teach you the right knowledge, then keep them, the majority of the advice that you can find in blogs, podcasts and social media is not good at all and most of the time they only want to generate controversy and get clicks this way, not precisely the kind of person I would trust to get the right information to improve my financial situation.

Do you need any guideline for investing in cryptocurrency? Well, to me i don't think so because they only thing i know that is mostly needed currently is to get a better wallet download, map out your funds and invest in bitcoin for long term if you are not desperate of trading it because I know those who invested for long term are now reaping their rewards today even most people seems not to have touched their investment instead their doubling their portfolio especially now that they seen that Trump has won there is every possibility we would never see bitcoin dumping that much, since most investors always think that bitcoin must crash and when it crashes to double their investment I don't think that would work for them again.

None. Only myself. What I mean is that I often watch some vlogs from crypto influencers on YouTube that I know isn't shilling new projects, or I often read some articles from various crypto online media websites, but at the end of the day, I'm making my decisions based on what I know. I don't follow nor listen to other people's recommendation although in the past, I've followed some, and it helped me at least a bit, but now I'm not doing it anymore. Still, I'm watching some influencers that are focusing more on investing, and at the same time crypto as well. A no-no for those shillers out there that doesn't have any content on their channel aside from new projects being advertised. Don't listen or follow them at all. I believe there are some here who recommended some YouTube influencers here, but I will not do it. Nevertheless, there's nothing wrong watching them or even following them if they are educating you one way or another. Just don't follow shillers or those who are recommending you to invest into new projects.

All those important names you listed above who had written a book or more are not so important to the present days trading/investing style unless you want their traditional insights that work for a long-term investment in stocks and others. If you need the present-day experience, you might need to let the internet be your friend, but note that such impactful knowledge is not gathered at a single source, you need more than 20 sources that you may not even remember again, that was what helped me and I tell you, they are always readily available on the internet, all you need to do is to search wider. Also, you do not need to pay a dime for the best quality resources, I am proof of that I thank God for my experience in trading and investing today. You might also want to attend seminars/webinars, it helps a lot, particularly when you have the chance to ask questions that will be answered immediately, unlike those books you can't meet their authors.

aantonop is a good source of technical information but not what @OP is looking for as he is looking for a reference to learn about investing and trading in cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find a good source to learn trading, especially cryptocurrency trading.

Apparently one can only gather sources to comprehend the nature of investment in the crypto space. The Crypto industry is a decentralized technology which is automatically not relied on any superceded entity to be relied on. So I will say you can only explore on this journey by consultations and researches based on your needs and where complicated. Everyone in the crypto journey hence is experienced has it essential role to play within the industrial layouts. Perhaps you can as well extract your motive from any angles without having your eggs on one basket as a source.

I am being honest here, I find reading books too boring. People learn more from their real-life experiences. You might lose some money by trying to invest or trading by yourself. But you will learn from every mistake you make. None of those books will teach you what to do. All you will get is some idea of how to do it. You have to do the rest. Most books are getting outdated these days. If you can spend time online, stick with some crypto forums and you will get some ideas. But it will take time. You won't be able to learn these things in a month. Every investment has risk. But you have to find out the less risky coin in which you can invest.

Theory turns into practice, it's the natural process of it. Ideas will be brought from the forums and other sources, but only real sessions will bring you the needed expertise.

Crypto space is the space where the most value can be acquired yourself. That's the beauty of it and that's how it's usually done - you make mistakes, you learn from them, and you adapt, progressing forward.

It's hard to find a source nowadays that deals with good trading experience. But if it's about technicalities, many would trust people like Andreas since he's got a YouTube channel where he uploads videos for free. The rest, I can't be so sure about them because many of them are selling all of these free knowledge that the others can share too but just because they've got names, they're trying to monetize from it. So if you're up for trading knowledge and even technical knowledge, get as many source as you can but if they start asking you for some special tutorials or classes, that's a red flag.

I believe these guys tell the story about their own experience and perspective, and it cannot always be applied to other circumstances. It's like what Steve Jobs said about connecting the dots: "You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backward." But sure, there are always common financial theories in these books with some storytelling to make them more appealing. If you have already read college books about finance, there's little value other than good stories, and probably some aha moment where you understand this theory can be applied in that situation. That said, always go with the basic knowledge about risk, portfolio, etc. then you can pick any complementary books you want. I'd rather follow some crypto news/influencers to get some updated things since you said yourself that it's "fast-changing," meaning if it's already in the book format, you'll hardly get any fresh updates. Edit: almost forgot a channel that keeps me entertained, YouTube @alessiorastani

I can vouch for this person, for sure. However, you should always verify any information you get from anyone online. Remember one thing. What you can learn from books and stuff is theoretical stuff. It's the ideologies that you learn from them about investments and finances and stuff, but when it comes to making investments at the right places or in the right assets, you will still have to do your research and find out all those things. To get a hang of the market and cryptocurrency trading in general, surf around on platforms such as Coinmarketcap where you can find information about projects and their ranking, etc. You can then start learning about the backgrounds of some of the projects, start with Bitcoin, of course, and keep digging until you gain a lot of knowledge. And finally, you should start watching trading tutorials and then learn about the technical stuff either through YouTube or other platforms. Just remember, it's not something you can learn in a giffy, so give it some time.

Yeah, it's too difficult to stay informed in today's rapidly changing cryptocurrency world, but it's very important for cryptocurrency enthusiasts to have an insightful view on everything. It's impossible for users to stay informed through traditional books and knowledge. These traditional books do not explain the new ways, changes, and developments in the crypto industry, so we have to be informed and up to date for our better understanding. It would be good to look for online sources that can provide information about cryptocurrencies, their developments, news, and the changes that occur in them. I suggest you follow some podcasts and YouTube channels that share their insights and information about crypto daily.
