Seems like people are really into criminals, swindlers, and those who cheat others with tax fraud. They follow these folks and even call them influencers or stars. So, why are we complaining about the world when we actually support and follow these people? Just look at all those tax cheats flaunting their stuff on TV, making a mockery of everyone watching, acting like they're some kind of genius. It's wild. This is how influencers get hyped up. They invest a ton of money to get them on TV and in the media. Once they’re famous, they’re often used for money laundering and tax fraud, so a lot of cash flows through them. It’s all about connecting with the right network; being famous costs a lot, and you don't just get followers because people like you. Usually, someone’s paying to make you popular, expecting at least a 10x return. Stop complaining when you’re part of the problem. People never ask questions. And we don’t even have to talk about crypto… the world is crawling with scams and fraud. So much money passes through these so-called stars. Just look at how many influencers or "stars" have tax fraud allegations. They’re all part of a bigger game, just pawns in it. The brighter the light, the darker the shadow. We’re living in a world where everything seems nice and legit, but all that fancy stuff is just a pretty cover for a bad reality. But hey, it’s all good because the ignorant get the life they deserve.

From your narrative you talk as though there are no good people except for evil people all over the world, which is something I do disagree with you. Just because there are those that do commit crimes and those that albet their criminal act doesn't mean you've to generalize and hold the entire people in the world guilty. There are still good people who do report crimes and criminals when they notice any. There are still good people who avoid or rejects participating or aiding any corrupt practices. Etc. For you op to speak against the evils going on in today's society's then you could be noted to be one of such many good people the world still do have.

You are right and you yourself and me as well I would say are evidences of it. But we really can’t ignore the fact that yes people do idolize and worship those who are obviously not the best people. Usually because they are promised of a better life. I am guessing that this is due to more and more people wanting to look out for themselves and disregarding everyone else’s wellness. So, if someone who has stolen from everyone and has committed a crime, as long as he promises you specifically a better life then you will follow him.

It's very hard for me to believe your assertion that people love criminals because no normal human being will love someone for his/her criminality. However, those people that have criminal record that you are referring were not love for their criminality but are loved because of one unique talent or the other they may have that attracted people's attention.

Something about the society we live today is that we tend to talk so much about evils perpetrated than we talk about the few good and good doers in the society. And as such it seems as though we're popularising the bad sides more than the good. It's high time we shift the paradigm. Now, this is where integrity comes in, if you have conscientiousness of your integrity to protect them nothing of a promise for some good life would break you to accept what's ill-gotten to which you're aware of except the person has just been pretentious all that time. But I do know there are people that would stand for a good name to a good life made through crime aiding.

People admire what they represent: power, defiance, and the illusion of freedom from the system. It speaks more of psychology than of ethics. Deep down, people hate the rules but lack the confidence or means to challenge so the masses idolize those who get away with it. Seeing tax cheats and scammers flourish makes one believe the game is rigged; instead of challenging the system, one worship the top players These so-called "influence stars" are not random lucky folks. The industry is a machine: money goes in, influence comes out. The higher the investment, the bigger the return. Most viral influencers therefore are not organic. They are funded, supported, and organized to fit a financial flow. Tax fraud, money laundering, offshore havens; it all connected. The entertainment business is a wealth transfer mechanism dressed in culture, never about entertainment The system that causes scamming necessary to play at the top the real issue, not the scammers. Not only do high taxes and financial gaps exist; they are designed. Those who understand the tax code know how to win; it is only a game. The wealthy avoid taxes since they are greedy; they avoid taxes since that is the rules of the game. The system encourages you for cheating, expects you to do so, and punishes only those who fail to understand how it works. The masses cry foul, but they never ask who writes the rulebook The most ironically aspect is those who mock these celebrities yet enjoy their content. They fuel the machine, complain about it, then go on viewing. Blind obedience and blind rebellion are two sides of the same ignorance. You wish change? Stop funding the circus

Man you speak the simple truth. In every society there are good and bad people but to be sincere we get to see more of the evil things done by the bad people. People will always speak based on their personal experience. There are persons that will come to this thread and talk about the good deeds they have encountered in life. Forget it life happens to people in different ways. Some good and bad some mostly good while some mostly bad.

People like those who "beat the system" and the example you use of Jeremy Clarkson is misinformed, he has been quite clear he made use of existing tax laws that were poorly designed in an attempt to shield some of his fortune. Nothing wrong with that, the laws were intended for farms to stay intact instead of fragmenting, but have been abused by the super rich who are able to shelter money using them and pass it down to family by making an illusion of a farm or buying up massive holdings. People don't like the average conmen or scammers who target the average person to steal their money. Then again the average person can be easily fooled based on someone like Trump coming to power, so should we feel much pity for them?

Some people may have fallen into doing fraudulent acts and it’s certainly their choice.  But let’s not assume that all people are doing the same thing. There are still good and honest people out there that are not breaking the rules, and as much as possible everything they do are not against the community’s rules and regulations. So this narrative of yours OP might only be one-sided, these irresponsible citizens won’t justify the general behavior of the majority the country’s citizens.

Which party do you think prevails in this day and age, and which do you think has the most impact and influence on societies? The good, or the evil? While there is a lot of controversial thought and opinion in the OP, there's also a lot of truth in there. I'd give you 10 merit if I had it. Great post.

Loving someone because of their crimes is a very strange and unreasonable thing to do because there are still normal people with various good things in each of them. So I am a bit surprised when there are people who love other people just because they are capable of committing crimes, even though it is a very despicable job and can even harm many people. I will not mention unique talents or anything in people who are capable of committing crimes because it does not require a certain educational path to be able to do it very carefully.

But they're doing tax avoidance, it's a legal method to minimize their taxes. Tax avoidance isn't crime, it's different with tax evasion or corruption which will make them get punishment once they got caught. That's true, I don't know you're a good person or not, but let's say you're a good person, do you think people love you just because you have a good character? I don't believe that. There's must be something, either you're handsome, has good physical appearance, you like to pay for your friends, or anything that gives benefit. Is there any of your friends willing to help you when you're at your lowest? is there anyone help you when have no money and you're in debt?

Avoiding taxes and scamming others is not something to be proud of. If you dont like rules and want be defiant, nobody is stopping you from going to the jail and watching you rear blown apart. One tour down that line and you will be broken enough to lead a miserable life. Instead keeping yourself in line and leading the disciplined life is what is tough and knowing how to take advantage of the system to help yourself is what is needed to be learnt. Most of the people lack proper comm skills, negotiation skills and technical knowledge. Work on those and you might be able to get up the corporate ladder.

Well one part to your message is, if there are good people why is the world filled with harsh economic realities. I agree somehow with you that what we have is much of illicit dealers and invaders who get cover up by their cronies in government. If they don't get cover up then they should be caught to face the law according to their offense and that will reduce such incidence. Unfortunately, everyone can't join the bad group. The world still needs reasonable people to lead people on the right part while making efforts to sanitize the environment. Don't join the bad group but be a good citizen of your country and pay your tax because government use that to provide some services for the people.

I get what you're saying, people are supporting the bad guys and praising them, while complaining about their own struggles, but it's not like they don't see the double standard, they just choose to ignore it. They think it's okay to idolize people who are basically doing the same thing they're complaining about, as long as it's done on a bigger scale and with more glamour. It's like they're saying "oh, I'm not a scammer, I'm just a fan of a scammer", like that makes it okay. And it's not just in the crypto space, it's everywhere. People love to watch these reality TV shows and think it's entertainment, but it's really just a distraction from the real issues, like tax evasion and money laundering. And let's be real, if they were to expose these influencers and celebrities for what they really are, they'd lose their fanbase and their power. It's all about the illusion of wealth and status, and people are willing to ignore the truth to keep that illusion alive.

I am not arguing if there's a lot of truth or not  about what the OP is emphasizing  My point of interest is, in as much as evil seems to pervade much part's of societies we shouldn't forget to give credence to the fact that good still prevails in some places and aspects. Our perspectives may differ, despite how much we talk and hear about evil occurrences from different quarters I would still want to believe and hold to the faith that the good still has an impact and influence on society,  hence, things would have been worse than what we have to today.

This is the approach at which we often think, if a person is hungry and being a poor man, helpless and having nothing to make a living, then go to steal a bread to eat, then the next thing you see is everyone attempting to kill him, while the cooperate thieves we have in traditional attires and in politics, because they have a significant influence in controlling the crowd over any public interest.

Dude, if you're here on a bitcoin forum intending to bitch about other people's tax evasion schemes, all you're going to get are shitposters writing posts devoid of any real thought (like this one): Or you're going to get a gigantic, gaping collective yawn.  Influencers can go fuck themselves, and they were never the biggest culprits as far as tax fraud was concerned--in fact, they're a fairly new phenomenon that will hopefully go away once people's brains start picking up on the fact that they're just marketing tools.  Anyway, complain all you want but there's nothing the community can do about it even if it wanted to.  Go whine somewhere else.

Gone are the days when people blow organically but right now you'll have to have the right connection before you can become an influencer with lots of followers. I won't say people love scammers but they love the life that they're living on social media with all the luxurious lifestyle, infact who won't want that for themselves but all those lifestyle don't last because the scammed will eventual get exposed and when they do, they usually lose everything including their finances and respect in the society. We have brands that sponsor and managed influencers which include the scammers disguise as influencers too. Alot of lies is all over the world therefore we don't have to jealous what others are achieving because we don't know how they got there.

The modern culture is emerging and the mechanisms of acquiring power are also different. As many people know, everything is not as it seems and with the current world where people portray the life they want through social media, the overall reality is not always what it seems. It should be important to know that what looks attractive does not necessarily have a strong base and many things are comparatively existing only to fall down at some certain point of time. However, there is much we are not told about how this process comes to pass, and that is why comparing ourselves to what we see on the screen can create more confusion than anything else. We should not be bound with some paradigms which are created in some storeys that may not be real.
