Why time is the real MVP in business growth

When we talk about business growth and entrepreneurship, it’s funny how time rarely pops up on the list of key assets for launching and scaling. Why is that? Time is everything. It’s crucial to invest time in developing your skills, mindset, and focusing on what you want to achieve. Sure, cash, land, and other resources are important for starting a business, but without dedicating your time, those things won’t run themselves. Honestly, time is the most precious asset you have. It’s a resource that’s super limited and can’t be replaced. If you don’t make the most of it, good luck trying to catch up later.

Because it can’t be directly converted into cash unlike other intangible assets like trademark and brand which has value on it. You’re correct on your analysis but it’s more on personal perspective on we view our time as valuable in able to consider it as a valuable asset. I think is it’s more on resource rather than assets since we have reserves for it that we need to use smartly. Again, it’s up to someone perspective on how we value your time so you’re right in your own way to view it.

i guess maybe because even though it is valuable, we all have time. we all have it it all just boils down to how can you properly make use of it. unfortunately we know that time is the one that is taken advantage of the most some people do not take time seriously and act like they will go on to live forever so they do not need to be efficient and use every second like it is their last

Perhaps "Time" seems to be underrated (not really underrated) because it's not an asset that can be bought with money. it's self given. it comes with you, so in the cost of making plans time seems not to be included but every entrepreneur values it and has it in their unconscious state that "Time" is more important to the success of their businesses. In my opinion Time is only valued in our unconscious states.

You are perfectly correct. Time is the most valuable resource on earth when it is manage judiciously for creativity and self development. There is no shortcut to success, there is a prize to pay in other to achieve any good thing that will improve our standard of living. There is time for everything and if this time is not meaningfully apply to achieve a require skill that will make life sustainable posterity will sure fight back in the life of that I individual. Anyone that acquire a reasonable skills and self development will find life very easy and enjoyable.

You have a very valid point here. But I still think resources and other necessary things are as important as the Time we are talking about. And one interesting thing I can point out is, Even if the application of time is very important in starting up or achieving something, the activities that we do with that time matters alot. In most cases, we find people that have quality/enough time to do or learn something, but they really don't utilize that time with real activities that matters, thereby rendering that time useless, and we all know that we can never recover lost times. So, I feel both resources, time, and good utilization of the time, is very important. And we all know that utilizing a time properly demands alot like dedication and focus, which not everyone can humbly submit.

Well, I hear time is a very valuable and essential asset in business development quite often. Besides time, there is also motivation, which is a must. Nobody can reach anywhere if they aren't motivated to do so. Then in order to not lose motivation along the time, you also need a schedule of long term goals to be fulfilled. In regards to developing, expanding and growing your business time is a valuable resource you need to consider, it's one of the most important tool to business growth. I think most entrepreneurs disregard it because it's not an asset that is being bought with money, they feel when you put in money into a business is what makes it grow, but nevertheless you need to put in a lot of time especially when you're still in the early stage of your business and wants to develope.

Of what use is time if we do not have available resources to grow our businesses and bring every idea we have in our head into reality? Time is a very valuable asset, but no asset needed to grow a business or idea is more valuable than the other. A little decline in one can render every other effort useless. Time alone cannot bring ideas to life or grow a business. Imagine having all the time in the world but no knowledge on what exactly to do with the time. Money, knowledge, skills, people, tools are all important and there must be a balance between them all. No serious minded entrepreneur disregards time even though they may not talk about it. Disregarding time leads to procrastination which hinders productivity. Moreover, time isn't the only valuable thing that is not bought with money. Some soft skills and talents may not be bought with money, but underestimating them is capable of slowing down growth.

You make a good point - time is so important for any business, yet folks dont always put it at the top of the asset list.  Strange... You cant just buy more time at the store, and how you spend those minutes and hours definitely affects whether your biz makes it or not.  So be real careful with that time.  Use it wisely, especially when youre running your company and  and Ill tell you, as you get older you start to appreciate that time even more!

Time has not been disregarded for once, so of course is included but just that you could not identify it do that the fact that is more of a silent thing in every development, so I would try if I could explain what I take or use as a time in development, so actually if you check very well in every business development we have what is called targeted duration to complete the development, so the time became very important for them because they plan to achieve it through the time they set up, so you can now see that time has always been an important thing but operate silently.

This resource is also critical for business, as it is critical for every business participant.

Time may be underrated, but it's actually the main ingredient when it comes to achieving success, be it in business or any type of endeavor wherein you are looking forward to see end success. If you can't invest in your time, if you do things always short on time, never look for a successful investment but a failure and frustrating outcome.

Agreed, everything can be gotten back when we lose them. We can get the money, property, respect or anything that you can think about but you can't get back your time after you didn't spend them wisely. Time is precious, time isn't an asset that should be joke with, don't allow your time to be wasted hence all your decisions should be calculated so you can make good use of the 24hrs that we have in a day. After losing the 24hrs for that day, you can't get it back hence time shouldn't be neglected. Time is important but it isn't the only important thing in starting a business because you can have all the time yet you don't have other resources that would had helped you establish your business. To become a victorious business man, you need to know everything that's required to be successful and this includes proper time management.

the thing is that time is constant, it doesn't increase or decrease. cannot be bought or wasted and regardless of how you use other variables that are put together in the development of your business, it always remains constant. regardless of the kind of business you are running or the amount you have as capital or even the level of knowledge you have, everyone has equal time and so you don't really factor it into what you want to get because it is always there. this could be the reason why some will continue to procrastinate because of the assumption that they always have time and that if they don't do it today that they can always do it the next day, that is a set up that should be avoided and time management incorporated so things can be done as at when due. you work hard to get other assets like land, capital and even your team but can only plan how to effectively utilize your time. that is just the basic difference.

Time and timing in business are both important. Often time is there but the timing to enter into a business and catching that first mover advantage may be the breaking point. It is also important to know that no time is late if you know how to solve a certain problem and have to resources to run a business that can do so. This is because there is always a legacy coming behind you who may be able to churn it further. Hence dont think twice when you see a problem, try to see how others have approached it and begin to work on a solution.

Time is indeed default on which it will really be that something you wont be minding too much and will really be focusing into more other important factors on which you do know that its really that worth considering but i do really get your point that it is really that something that you will be needing up to include into the most valuable thing too on which same as you said that if you wont really be able to make use of your time efficiently and wisely, then you would really be ending up on having that huge problem or any other factors and things will be totally useless. Yes, you do have the plans and other considerations but if you wont really be making out that action and making use of time efficiently then everything will really be that useless. Business development is mainly that you do really need up to consider out because on the time that you wont be taking up such aspect then there's no development or changes or progress on which we know that crucial on any business development because at the time that you do build up a business then you should consider these things on which considered to be the main factors you do need on which this one includes "TIME". Dont let these things to be that put in ignore because if you do then you might be ending up on having that regret in the end or on the time that the business is indeed on huge problem or having no development.

Time is important, but many people not aware about it due to their environment. If you live in first world countries, they already know how important is time because if they work, they get paid per hour. So, in their mind, the more hours they spend, the more salary they will get. This is different if you live in third world countries and poor, most jobs are paid per month, they don't mind to work for 12 hours and 6 days per week. In their mind, time isn't important because they're forced to work to live.
