Right now, we’re at a really important point. If history is any guide, after the halving, we could be looking at some new all-time highs between October and December. What do you all think? Is Bitcoin gonna hit 100k by then? I honestly believe it can get there!
Will Bitcoin reach 100k in the next three months?

Based on my observation, Bitcoin no longer follows history due to the kind of events that happen nowadays. If history were supposed to repeat itself, we should already be on the $70k level this month of October, but instead the market is being faced with challenges such as the war effect, etc.
So I'm not certain if we can see $100,000 before the year runs out (although nothing is impossible for Bitcoin to do in that little month interval), but I'm optimistic that we can see a new ATH before the end of the year.
There are already plenty of bullish threads here on the forum(including yours), so I believe that $100k is definitely possible. Once the bull run kicks in, its going to break the ATH, and after that, Bitcoin is headed to the moon. While these are just speculations, history has proven that even bad economic news can't stop Bitcoin from pumping when the right time comes. And I think that time has arrived, with bullish trends starting to show up.

No, I don't think that Bitcoin will reach $100k this year but if things go in its favor then it's also not impossible to see Bitcoin at $100k. I personally think that Bitcoin will form a new ATH this year and there's chance that the new ATH would be over $80k or more than that, but I don't think that it will even come close to $100k if things happens in adverse way. The elections and elected candidate of US elections will surely have some impact on value of Bitcoin but it's still too early to say anything about that, and similarly there's chance to see some more upward movement in month of December 2024.
I do believe that it will but not too early as this end of the year. That's the target that many think will be happening for this year and we're not giving up on that. But we cannot do anything but to speculate and wait until it happens. And there are some speculations that think that Bitcoin will surpass that price more. This is what we get every bull run, although that it won't happen for most but at least everyone's sentiment is the same for this season.
Are people being greedy now? No. That's because the impact that we've seen in the past years on how Bitcoin moves. And so, these high prices that we've got in our minds can happen but it's only a matter of time when. So, keep your hands and make it a diamond and hold until we see it get there if not at the end of this year then put your hopes high and up on 2025.

Nobody can know what the price of bitcoin will be by that time but if I may guess, I think bitcoin price is not going to fall less than $55000 even if the price did not increase as expected. But it is still very possible that we may get to $100000 before the end of this year. If we do not get to $100000 before the end of this year, we should be expecting that in 2025. If we do not get to the price this year we are going to get to the price by next year.
I wouldn't expect $100k to be hit this time in 2024, but I would expect it to be hit sometime next year.
The same scenario as the previous halving period can be expected to repeat itself, but many things may have been different so it is difficult to guess whether history could repeat itself.
The highest price I can expect this year is $80k, and that's if the market isn't negatively impacted. I realize that the market has become a little more sensitive recently, of course also influenced by increased activity or external situations including the economy and war.
Some experts said so, but it is not always certain that price will go as people have predicted it. I do think that the price of Bitcoin can actually reach $100k between now and December but I know it's just a probability, it might or might not.
I agree. Moreover, I believe that we do not have enough statistical data to accurately claim that history repeats itself, a few cycles do not necessarily prove that it's a pattern that will always repeat itself. From how I see things, Bitcoin certainly won't surpass $100,000 nor achieve a new ATH in 2024, perhaps it'll happen sometime in the first half of 2025 (the new ATH) but I can't be certain judging by the current economical situation and the war in the Middle East. If things go south, and they're heading that way, it's difficult for any kind of investment to thrive.

To say it can't be achieved in the October-November timeframe is probably ignoring the volatile nature of price action. If I say it can, I have no real reason to believe it will be achieved in that timeframe.
If it does happen, what I'm thinking now is how I won't regret not taking advantage of that timeframe by focusing on continuing to have more Bitcoin in my wallet.
$80K is the starting price I expect to reach $100K.
I actually dont see it hitting $100k before the year runs out - its been long I took my mind off bitcoin going up and reaching 100k dollars, I stopped believing it will get there after the mini bull run we experienced if it had reached 80k -90k during that period I would have still had much hope but since it didnt do well as anticipated I just knew this year isnt going to be when bitcoin hits 100k dollars mark.
As much as I'm optimistic towards Bitcoin and the whole crypto market in the remaining 3 months of the year, I don't think that it will reach 6-digits for the first time this year.
I believe in the 4-year cycle and I think that the "history repeats itself" phrase will be appicable here like it always does. I believe that at some point, there will be some kind of catalyst that will help the price of Bitcoin go up. It maybe the Chinese government printing some money to boost their economy, or the US doing something that could be positive for the crypto community. Whatever the case is, I believe that there will be some news out there that will push Bitcoin up to $100,000, but not this year though.
Whatever the case is, I believe that we will all make profit during this bull market. I would suggest not to hold your assets for a long time, and don't do what I did last 2021. Held my assets for no reason at all. Sell if there's an opportunity, and buy if there's an opportunity.

Shouldn't this post be in the speculation section, since we are speculating on BTC price, so i suggest you move it there. This is the final quarter of the year, and BTC price is still ~ $62k right now, the events around the world is also not positive at the moment, so i am not too optimistic about hitting $100k within the next three months. But we have seen BTC price rise very quickly countless times in the past, so that can happen again.
You are right that the post supposed to be on the speculation board. I have reported it and it would be moved as soon as a moderator sees the report. But also you can also report the post, especially next time. So if the OP do not move the thread to the appropriate board, a moderator can move it as soon as possible after reading the report.
About the price of bitcoin, it is not easy to know what would happen but definitely the bears can not win for now. But people are now moving their coins out of exchanges. Bitcoin may not reach $100000, but also not going down.
When the year started I was very much optimistic that we will get to the $100k price and this was because of the ETF hype then were the market was actually pumping hard. Right I wouldnt still say that the $100k isnt achievable but I will say that the current economic situation of the world is seriously putting the price at risk and with my speculation been the $80k price. This to me looks more realistic right now than the $100k. Then next year when we will be super bullish like the previous years after halving then we can achieve the $100k.
I believe it's possible, but nothing here is completely guaranteed to happen as expected. The final 3 months of 2024 and the beginning of 2025 promise to be a great season for Bitcoin. At least, that is we have been hoping for since pre-halving times, in the beginning of 2024.
There is still a lot of resistance to break through, though. Bitcoin still didn't find a way to return to the 70,000$'s. The market is constantly maintaining it inside 60,000$'s price range. I wonder how long it will still take until finally overcoming this obstacle, so we can finally feel the 100,000$ mark close to us for the first time in Bitcoin history!
Bitcoin is constantly making more and more expansions from past history. Bitcoin has generated more ATH ($74,000) this year than in past history. Only time will tell if Bitcoin will break all previous records this year in October-December and set new records. However, it is not possible to accurately predict the Bitcoin market, so it is assumed that the Bitcoin market will be more positive in the future.
A lot of these threads popping up seemingly obsessed with Bitcoin hitting $100K by the end of the year. I actually dont think it will and thats a good thing. The market needs time to digest all the mtgox and FTX money slowing around and normalize. I was to see a face melting rally at the end of next summer that sends us to $200K.

No one can pinpoint the exact price and date based on historical comparison but these are ways to give you approximate predictions.
For me I think Bitcoin will reach 100k but not necessarily in October to December as you mentioned, I think it might be delayed a little bit to the first quarter of 2025.
The time issue is not very important, the important thing is to see these numbers achieved after this long wait, whoever waited all these years will not mind waiting a few more months to achieve his goal,
Of course, 100k is possible but if we want to talk about history repeating itself, it is likely for us to see 100k by the first quarter of next year and not this year because 2021 was the last bull run so I expect to see 100k price next year.
A new ATH has been achieved this year March which no one expected but that doesn't mean that bitcoin price will not go above 73k this year. US election is what most investors are waiting for it to come and go so that one can see the impact that it will have on bitcoin price. I hope to see 80k by the end of this year.
