Things are heating up in the Middle East. Meanwhile, NASDAQ and S&P 500 futures are on a downward trend. But on the bright side, Bitcoin is holding its ground. Altcoins are beginning to gain some traction again. Let’s check out a few altcoins that look promising alongside Bitcoin: LINK STX TAO

I just checked out S&P500 and NASDAQ chart, they both aren't falling at all the same way crypto isn't falling and instead making a small pump. But it would be great seeing some altcoin season at least. Most of altcoins are already becoming a dust .

The trading session for the major indices S&P 500 and NASDAQ is not yet open. I'm looking at futures contracts that are already in operation. NASDAQ 100 E-mini futures (contract NQ1! ) and S&P 500 E-mini futures (contract ES1!). They are slowly falling with a GAP down.

Has something like altcoins season occured before in the year it supposed not to occur? In history, the years that represent 2026 were all of bear market. What will make this season to be different? This is not the end of alt season but it will occur in year it supposed to occur and that will be some months after the bull run started, not this time.

Wait for it, bud. The events don't hit the markets so fast, especially such an event as these The oil already is pumping.

Please note that this is not investment advice. Altcoins are highly volatile, and you could lose some of your capital. Research the proposed projects carefully first. DYOR, please.

Being specific is impossible with crypto speculation so I agreed with you that alt season will come when it will but not just yet and if I must predict then I will say we shouldn't expect alts season this year 2026 may be next year ok but this year seems I bit out of hand for altcoins and even bitcoin to do that extremely high bull market season, I beliythis year should be a good buying year and waiting for the next big market shift to come in near time but not 2026.

Wait maybe until next week, and we'll see how the market will really react when most of suppliers of oil in the world have been stuck with their stocks. The alts don't seem to move that much and if an altcoin season is likely for this year, I don't know then that breaks the cycle that we're about to have for this year because it should be bear market. Or it can happen for a few week or two and then the market will revert to the usual bear market as expected. These short term movements doesn't mean a thing as of now so we have to wait.

I don't have confidence that we will see altcoin season this year, not because of the war or anything, I just feel we are not going that direction now with the level of uncertainty in the market. If there will be any serious pump, Bitcoin will definitely lead it because it has earned more trust that the other cryptocurrency. Just like you said, a lot of these altcoins are turning into dust, this means that only the established coins are worth investing in and holding.

I doubt if there have been altseason in the previous bear markets because  during the bear market, the market crashes and altcoins use to dip farther than bitcoin. I don't know which force wants to drive the market for an altseason at this time. It's until we have reached the bottom of the bear market and the price starts bouncing back, that's when we can be hopeful for an altseason. So, let's wait till then. Some of these coins wouldn't be able to pump again after the market crash is over.

STX brought me huge profits last cycle. But now it seems to be dead. I wanted to talk to the Stacks developers, but they're unavailable on their Discord server. All I found there were scammers offering fake support.

I'm not sure if this season is coming with altcoin pumping up to the all-time high or we have to wait till next year by the start of another season, for now we are already in the bear season for bitcoin and we are expecting what client season should follow by next year which is 2027.

This is what is written in official sources about stacks STX But people are greedy, and when I read about an increase in the emission of a cryptocurrency (altcoin), I think that the founders just want to sell more before the price drops or, worse, the coin becomes a scam.

Right now, it's a bear market not only for Bitcoin but also for almost all altcoins. It's worth noting that last year, alts closed the annual candle down 42%. What's more, 38% of all alts are currently trading close to their historic lows. So, while the market is in this state, we can only dream of an alt season.

I don't think there is any assertion that makes 2026 a altcoins season, we should expect for more of the bitcoin bear for now, even though there may be some little performance from some of these coins, but majority of the alts may not rise and make all time high this year except for few, we may take advantage of buying the dip for now in other for us to hold and wait till the alts season is fully come.

I also hope that happens, the altcoin that I own today can return to the top to have a profit or at least return capital, it is very hard to hold a coin that is in a state of loss, the financial market is not reacting more about the war that is happening today, maybe something is wrong? Or even though the war hasn't paralyzed the economy? I wonder why we are still in good shape in the market. I would be very grateful if the war does not have a major impact and we will continue to have safe financial markets, especially crypto, because that is where our livelihood is.

Bitcoin is down for last few months and recent conflict between Iran and USA has not much impact on price of Bitcoin. Its very difficult for alts to go up while Bitcoin is down. Bitcoin is unable to break resistance of 70k but good thing is price is not going below 60k. I hope this conflict will over soon and we some positive news will drive Bitcoin above 70k. For now we can plan to buy top alts but for long term because not much risk is involved in buying top alts like BNB at current price.

What is really happening next week man? Altcoins have a slow Chian pick which make it very hard for the market to pick along other assets even if there is a sudden development that triggers the cryptocurrency market in a positive direction, what we are seeing with altcoins this season is way beyond what we see in the post FTX era if with the news at that time altcoins market liquidity is still stronger than this time, which means directly we are going to wait for a very long time to see another altcoins season.

You mean before 2026 came in the scene? Yes, there is something like it and that is a Bitcoin pump. There are patterns that states an event such an alt season won't occur but I think not all times it is followed. So we still had a chance now, even if you think that this year is still part of the dump times. We in fact had more chance knowing that alt season have not yet occurred. This 2026 may be different from before because before was a bull but it is still not different from the rest. 2026 is only another part of a cycle. As long as there is crypto, crypto events such as alt season will also remain. If there is a a bull run, alts were basically rising too and if it is a separate season for alts, then I it won't take long for it to occur. Even the bull run don't last a long time either.

Whenever fiat gets a bit less valued, that means crypto will go up. And right now we have a situation where temporarily the market is in chaos because people don't know what's going to happen with the Iran situation. However, that doesn't mean that we are going to do badly, stock market will recover eventually. Moreover, we are in the bear market for the crypto world and even though there could be couple points recovery here and there time to time, that's not going to be common and won't happen that often. So we have to look at this as something that will not be long term and just focus on doing a better job. I get that you may hope for a better tomorrow, but just focus on long term when it will go up, and ignore the short term fall that will probably happen.
