So I'm running into issues with a domain sale payment that was supposed to happen over two months ago. It was sold for US dollars, and they say the money was sent to my UK Sterling bank account. I've asked for a M103 report, but I haven't gotten it yet. I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing trouble with Swift.
Looking back, I realize I should have pushed for payment in Bitcoin, but that option wasn't on the table this time.
I had read you post about this and till now your payment for the domain hasnt gotten to you, it is sad and pathetic that and ironic that something named Swift has delayed for this long.
You said in the previous post that swift is like the middle man between your bank and the buyers bank, can you lay complain to swift through your bank.
I have done some trade that bitcoin wasnt an available option but I seriously insisted on it.
Still no payment, and the sender has not sent me the MT103 document as proof of payment. I've spent so much time on this, that I need tio make a bit of money as compensation. I own the name RobotBanker.com, and I'm thinking of putting a web site on there to discuss the problems with modern banking, AI and robotic support and banking.
Dear OP, believe me that users of this platform are technically more conversant with transactions done through the Blockchain than the banks.
We probably have more Blockchain analysts than the bankers who were supposed to give better details of your situation but if I may ask, how long have you been waiting for this transaction to reflect? I consulted my banker friend and she said it may take maximum of 5 working days for the transaction to be successful.
You should diligently crosscheck the bank details given to the sender and if all are correct then you should contact your bank and also ask the sender to do same with his bank.
If it is not network issues, it might either be incorrect bank details or the sender is somehow playing games with you.
Bitcoin is optional for payment in the outside world and you can not succeed at all costs that everyone dealing on transactions with you must pay with Bitcoin.
OP also made it clear that Bitcoin was not part of the payment option, so he can not insist.
Banks need to process these payments and i don't think they do that during weekends. And depending on different banks it can take 1-3 (business) days to process between them.
I would wait for Tuesday for the money before being suspicious, as 3 days is most they have take for me. And in some rare cases it can take even longer, but usually they are processed in same day.
Sender not giving MT103 document is sender issue. Maybe they are having free weekend as well?
Sorry for your experience. This is one of the reasons why I hate having issues Bank related. They would always remind why you hate heading there.
2 months is quite abnormal even for swift. You stated in your previous post that you believe the buyer has made payment M103 report should be requested from name silo since they served as escrow.
Bitcoin is an optional payment method so is my service, I am not saying it will work for you but my service I will sell online will be paid in bitcoin or if the case is difficult it will be paid in USDT this is my payment method.
It is optional to take it or not but I explain to my client how easy it will be for them and me using this payment method.
It may be optional but I will not change the method I prefer to receive my payment.
Okay I think sometimes you may know much better options but with the situation at that moment won't let you to use it and I don't think it's your fault rather it's how the the deal turns out to be,the most important thing is that you have learnt from what did happen
So that next time you will go for a much faster, clearer payment options that won't leave you guessing on how come about the money or where your money is
