Hey folks, I want to share with you Aperod (APRO), a cryptocurrency that prioritizes privacy. It's built entirely in Go and combines Monero-style confidential transactions with a quick, energy-efficient Proof of Authority consensus. So, why should you care about Aperod? 🔒 We're all about real privacy here, not just a buzzword. Every single transaction is secured using RingCT, which means ring signatures and confidential amounts are standard, along with stealth addresses. This way, senders, receivers, and transaction amounts stay hidden from the public eye only the involved parties can see what's going on. 🔑 We’ve got dual-key wallets. Just like Monero, Aperod separates the spend key from the view key. You can hand out a view-only key for things like accounting or audits without worrying about exposing your spending ability. ⚡ Our Proof of Authority consensus is pretty slick. Blocks are generated in a round-robin fashion by a set of validators, and they're finalized once over two-thirds of them give their approval. This means you get fast finality without the energy costs of mining. 🌐 We’re live with real infrastructure already. We’ve got a public block explorer, a JSON-RPC/REST API, and a Telegram wallet that lets you buy and sell. This isn’t just a concept; we’re already operational. 🎮 It’s more than just a payment system. Our roadmap includes integrating game economies, like minting in-game assets and trading items, all built on our privacy-centric foundation. What’s already up and running: - Full node + CLI wallet (built in Go) - Public block explorer - Telegram wallet with fiat on/off ramps - REST API available for developers Tech details for the devs: - Go 1.25, using edwards25519 and SHA3-256 crypto - MLSAG ring signatures (with a ring size of 16), Pedersen commitments, and bulletproof-style range proofs - LevelDB for storage, CLI built with Cobra Check us out!
