Hey everyone,
So, what’s the deal with Aptos (APT)? Is it still kicking and making waves in the blockchain world?
Thanks!
Is Aptos (APT) going places?

Not really.
It's 20th blockchain by TVL.
Even lower by activity.
In the bullmarket everything will go up but overall feeling that we don't need that many blockchain + VC bags will limit the growth unless they come up with something revolutionary, which is very unlikely as it was mostly a VC hyped vapourware.
Many of these projects won't be projected to have a good future if they're assessed during the bear market.
It has dropped a lot for its price and maybe people will see it as no longer significant project.
So, looking at aptos right now might only discouraged a lot of investors because of how it corrected a lot.
Not sure what you mean by a bright future, but in terms of price increase, not very much. You only have to look at it's price history to understand this. With the NFT hype that led to its popularity gone, it's one of those blockchains that will be slowly forgotten.

Saw it on same way to, since Aptos really had a great moment when those NFT's are definitely booming, but after the hype subside or just totally go away. The history somehow indicate that its momentum is not built to last long.
Without having a consistent or strong demand for this coin, to hard for this coin to stand out for long term. But well see what it brought around if bear market situation continue to occur. Because it test the those coins either they continue to decline or will survive.
Aptos is still an active chain in the crypto. It's still having TVL, which means there are still users on its chain. It's a proper blockchain, but lack of utility. It has big TVL in the past, but it went down drastically. It's all due its developers who were putting all of focus instead of creating utility for its coin.
It's hard to say this has bright future because this blockchain still remain stuck. No impressive development showed, and i guess its TVL keep decrease over time.
If you have intention to put your money in this. The better you're changing it to the another blockchain coin, which is having more utilities.
I'm a supporter of Aptos (APT), talking about it whenever I have the chance on various altcoin topics. IMO, Aptos (APT) has good prospects going forward, but it's not better than one of its competitors, Sui Network (SUI). Both have a basic foundation in the Move programming language, but recently Sui Network (SUI) has attracted more attention from investors since the large number of adoptions into its ecosystem.
If you're really serious about investing, it's better to choose Sui Network (SUI), but if you want to diversify, Aptos (APT) is a wise choice.

Move language based blockchain like Aptos is honestly having a hard time because projects rarely deploy in their chain unless incentivized and people rarely bridge their liqudity in there.
I don't see bright future with Aptos the same way I don't see bright future with Sui. They have higher barrier for project to participate in their chain for nothing.
