So, January 3, 2025, is a big day. The FTX Debtors Plan of Reorganization kicks off today, and it’s also the first day for setting the record for payouts to folks with accepted claims in the Convenience Classes. They’ll let us know later about the record and payment dates for other classes. I’ve taken a hit of about $20K in crypto thanks to these guys. The owner has been ghosting me after saying he would handle my refund since my cash went to his FTX wallet. I was in touch with him for a while, and I even gave him a nudge a few days ago but now? Silence. If there's anyone else here who’s lost cash to FTX and actually got it back, please share your story. I’m just trying to figure out if I’ve been played (not expecting much, honestly). A year ago, I already accepted the loss and moved on, but held onto a tiny sliver of hope and thought about it from time to time. I’ve learned my lesson and plan to avoid making the same mistakes with my money again.

Did you fill out the pre-distribution conditions, including selecting a distribution agent on the FTX Debtors? Maybe you can also check their portal here: https://claims.ftx.com/welcome I don't anything to claim, but in any case goodluck to you. You can also read this https://support.ftx.com/hc/en-us/articles/33190623459092-General-Information-on-Distribution-Service-Providers#h_01JGPRN45MP02A5TPPSVAHH0SZ. It was updated 2 days ago.

I have tried the portal but unfortunately it requires an already existing FTX account, which only the company owner has. I wasn't a FTX user. I did send FTX emails previously though and did remind the company owner about the site. It's better than nothing but still a pretty low chance on my end. That was all I had done. Thank you, and I'll take a look at the second link since I had never seen that before.
