People who earn a salary often find themselves spending their earnings on products and services from business owners. This means the business owners make a profit while the salary earners are left with little to show for it.

There is nothing better than having your own business. Even people that are earning salaries will later set up a business and be earning with the business. But there are some workers that are highly paid, many people wish to be someone like that also, so that they can be able to save up, start a good business with it as alternative source of income.

For me it’s better to own a profitable business because that’s the real key to success if you want to be rich someday. Having a job, even with the best position in a company or in government, you can’t pass that on to your family. But if you own a business and you nurture it until it grows into an empire, that can give your family a comfortable life. And when your time is up, you can pass it on to them. That’s my position about the question.

Both are better if we look at both situation. Someone who earns from a salary as an employee, it's not bad. You don't have to take risk and just work your task and be present at your office. While owning a business, they say you own it and you hold your time and can do whatever you want. But these people don't know that before you go to that point, you are a 24-hour man for your business and by that means, is you are the one who should be working the most. No actual schedule and working hours. So, if you don't like to work for someone else, start a business. But if you're okay with that and not taking any risk, earning salary as an employee is what is good for you. In the end, in jobs, there is no permanent one nowadays just look at how pandemic changed the mindset of many and with all of the massive layoffs that could happen anytime on any industry.

If you can’t manage wisely your salary, your funds will just easily vanish with just a blink of an eye. That’s why there’s always an edge if you have a business of your own where future profits are guaranteed, unlike if you rely solely on your salary, no matter how high your compensation is, you will still end up with nothing while trying to make ends meet. Nothing beats a business owner, despite of the challenges and struggles the business owner faces, still the hopes of making your business big and become fully successful and profitable in the end will always be attainable, compared to have nothing at all.

But first, if you are not yet capable of owning a business, to get a decent job is not bad to start with. Because we are not all born with inheritance money. Hence, most of us will indeed start from scratch. And also do remember that not all people have the inclination to build a business. So whatever path you may take, just remember to do your best and not do the shortcuts that may lead you to illegal doings. Thus, it is always better to keep yourself in the legal side of things and live decently. Also, it is known that most businessmen are doing some illegal transactions why they can go up easily. Do think of the repercussions later on. You may not be seeing the drawback right now, but it can easily be the source of your collapse in the industry.

obvious and the quite understanding that someone who is a businessman will make a profit more than someone who is earning a salary from a government, because a businessman who is successful may have three times of a salary earner payment before the month runs off, and if it is a someone that I have the interest to expand he or her business the business person come I have a different branch of same business that will be giving a profit from different places so that is why I prefer to be a business person than to be earning a salary monthly from company and they also from government employment

Business generate steady cash flow although business also comes with it own risks which need to be properly managed, most of the time we have forget to point out the area which we need to pay attention to which is the consistent in building a business and the pressure that comes with running a business to make it a success, so for sure business is better than salary but that is for those that have skills in the business their are doing.

"Do what works for you", that is what I believe. As much as you think that owning your own business does the magic in income generation, you should also know that not everyone is business oriented. It takes patience, determination and commitment to keep a business running to the stage where the business becomes highly profitable. Some businesses are high risks; not everyone can take up such businesses even with the very high returns. Earning salaries might be what works for some people due to some obvious reasons such as availability of ideas, capital and risk tolerance. If you know you are not a business person and you venture into business, you might fail. So I say again "stick to what works for you".

I think the Major Yardstick between choosing one of the two is actually money or funds. I think if everyone has the pleasure of actually accessing money that start up a business they will easily go for it. In as much as I don’t want to say there wouldn’t be anyone that will love to work under someone, but the number of people that will want to work under someone if they have the means the to set up business will be very low in my opinion. In essence what I am saying is if everyone has the means they will want to set up their own business, it is lack of funding that makes people to work under people because everyone is seriously looking to be calling the shots. For me this question has been seriously asked multiple times and many always say that the choice is on what everyone wants but I think the choice is seriously on how much everyone has or needs to set up their desired business. A good funded business only needs your 24 hour attention only when it is at early stage and not after getting strong,

Of course, because that’s where my journey has started, but my answer was just a response to OP’s question. I will always choose owning a business as the better path. Still, business is not for everyone since it comes with risk and not everyone has the skills to run one. That’s why I understand if some people would rather choose a decent job with a good salary.

Both are important, the business man or woman needs to do a job that will generate capital that will be used to start up a business. There is no business person that didn't get their Capital from a place of work or the other. Owning a business is more profitable that salary job but if the salary is lucrative, it might solve a lot of problem that business money can not doThe here come the stage where people become confused wether to start business or just continue with salary work The only problem is that most salary earners are so addicted to their salary to an extent they forget to to use their money to start up a business. A well managed business is better than a salary job, in the other hands a life time job can be better than some business that will crash within some week. Because staring business is not the problem but maintaining it is the problem

It could be more productive and profitable on your part if you have a stable job that gives you high compensation, and at the same time owning a business that would increase your sources of income. After all, it’s not a necessity that you should be physically present on your business, at least you should get a trusted manager to run your business, while you are just monitoring its progress. That way, you can earn both from your job and your business, which is highly possible within these days.

Being your own Boss is the best thing you should wish for yourself. All salary earners are under the payroll of someone who is actually their Boss and are answerable to the person at anytime. Your payment are fixed here and you don’t really have the right to negotiate in most works you’ll be applying for. These are the cons of being a salary earner. Money is actually being rotated from the business owners (as tax) to the government and then back to the salary earners (as salary) and the cycle continues like that. In respect of all the points I have given, I will still chose to become self independent rather than working under someone, so I will still go for business over being a salary earner.

In this case simply most peoples will be gone with own business, but It's also never been easy because its need good knowledge and having sources and hard work because with this its never been easy to do your own business. Having good job with good timetable and earning which can fulfill all necessities are also not bad but here mindset also works because few things are talkable about both options many those do not like to work bosses surely go ahead with own business but here managing things have never been easy. Job need good intention with all hassle is going for others or divided because here mostly teams work give better results but for me own business is always better.

It depends on the situation. You can only be earning salary and do what you want if the salary you earn is big enough to explore other things. Owning a business might be better but you have many responsibilities to do than only being a salary worker. If it was for me and my salary can make investments, buy things that I want, go to places I want to go then I would choose to be just an employee who receives his salary regularly.

If it's possible to have both, that's better. You'd have a safety net. Your business could go south. Your job could grow unbearably toxic. At least you have a continuous source of income if you lose either. But if I were to choose only one, I'd certainly be choosing business, but it's not because the salary earners are spending their money on me. I'm also spending my money on other businesses and services they got their salaries from. The reasons are mainly freedom and being your own boss. Those are priceless.

Receiving a salary will only provide a comfortable life for those who don't get fired, and there's always a risk involved. The opposite is true for building a business. If it doesn't develop well and goes bankrupt, the individual loses a significant amount of money. The question of which is better depends on each individual and their ability. Although building a business can lead to financial success if executed well, business also carries risks if run without knowledge, and worse, the individual can go bankrupt and lose significant amounts of money.

The best option is to live off passive income and only do what you truly love.

No question about it, being a business owner is better in terms of your goal to financial freedom. As what we have saying locally, if you are employee you are only making the business owner rich. But if you are that business owner then you will become rich. Although not all business became successful, there could be a lot of trials in the beginning, but in the end if you really focus on your goal to be that successful then it will come to you. Maybe you can start of earning a salary and then work and save enough. And when you think that it's ripe for you to quit and start your own then do it and with no regrets.
