Issues with Braiins OS+ and Asic.to on S19J Pro

So, I recently switched out my AM Logic board for a Xilinx board (C55), but nothing was working at first. After some digging, I realized it was running X17 firmware. I managed to flash the right firmware using an SD card and updated it through the stock UI. Now, the miner starts hashing again on the stock firmware, but the reason for swapping the AM Logic board was to get Braiins or Asic.to to overclock it. Unfortunately, neither is functioning properly. Asic.to won't even boot up; the fans are going crazy, ramping up and down like there's an alarm going off. Braiins OS+ lets me log in and set up a pool and all that, but it doesn't detect any of the hashing boards. Oddly enough, it seems to think it's an X17, while the stock firmware from Bitmain correctly identifies it as an S19J Pro. I'm guessing that the autodetection in BraiinsOS is picking up something off and mistaking it for an X17 board, even though everything's working fine on the stock firmware. I SSH'd into the miner and changed the /etc/bosminer.toml file to add [model_detection] use_config_fallback = true and set the model to Antminer S19J Pro, like it says here: https://docs.braiins.com/os/plus-en/Configuration/index_configuration.html#model-detection Anyone got any tips or ideas? It should detect as x19 since your miner is s19j pro. If it detects different according to BraiinsOS documentation it is due to EEPROM corruption of your 3 hashboard. There is a way to fix this if your EEPROM is corrupted you can flash the hashboard with the correct EEPROM the only problem is that you will need a known working hashboard where you can dump the PIC file and use that file to flash that 3 corrupted hashboards. And also you will need a tool called PICKit3 to flash them. If you want a guide check this link below - https://www.zeusbtc.com/manuals/Antminer-S19-Hash-Board-Repair-Guide.asp

Wow, would never have guessed that  I've been tinkering with electronics since I was 16, so I happen to have a PICkit lying around  When reflashing the firmware, do you risk damaging the hashboard, because it is working, just not with Braiins os.

You can just dump them before you replace/reflash them with a known working PIC file so that, you can revert it back to the original state if it is not working well. Just make sure that you have a working s19j pro PIC file if you don't have an extra s19j pro then you maybe need to request with someone here on the forum who have the same unit.
