Hey folks!
Just wrapped up this project I've been grinding on for months, plus a few years of on-and-off work that was a bit of a struggle.
So, it’s a software tool that listens to Binance sockets, does some data aggregation, applies filters, and all that jazz.
The main goal was to pinpoint those impulse patterns that push prices up. Tried a bunch of methods, failed a ton of times.
The best solution I found worked pretty well during the bull market but flopped during the bear market.
But the latest version looks really promising. I did some backtesting over a few years using trading data, and it showed a lot of successful entry points.
Right now, my entry points are being shared in real time (minus any delays from Telegram) at https://t.me/ValleyOfGoldenDreams
I’ve got some ideas on how to monetize this, but first I’m hoping to get some feedback:
Do you find my signals effective, or do you see any issues with them?
What changes would make the Telegram messages better for you?
Do you trade on Binance, or do you prefer other platforms? Spot, Futures, or something else?
Would you consider using these signals for trading? If yes, I’d love to hear about your real results.
Would you be willing to pay for access to these signals or something similar?
And if you have any suggestions, don’t hesitate to hit me up.
Oh, and just a heads up, if you decide to trade using these signals, that’s on you. I can’t guarantee they’ll always work out, so trade at your own risk.
Hope you all have a great day!
looks promising , but i think it's more usefull for futures trading ( not for spot trading because the ROI it's small ,most the trades profit are 1%)
also i noticed there is no stop-loss !
keep it in binance because it's the large exchange , most of traders use it
my advice is to try this software on paper-trading in tradingview , and try it for 1 month , and share the results in your telegram channel,
if it work and make nice profits and fews loss.. a lot of people will like to join you and even pay you for the signals.
Thank you!
I'll definitely try trading view, that's a great idea.
Futures and other platforms are planned, but I don't know yet what to do first. It takes significant amount of time to gather data, analyze, tune, backtest etc. But I also think futures and Binance might be the better choice. However, Binance is banned in some countries, and it makes me doubt a bit.
Also right, it might be a good idea to add some borders (say +1% and -0.5%) and tried a backetest at least.
As I understand it, you want us to test your software and provide you with feedback, but we have to do this work for free for you. I don't think anyone will agree to do this job for free, especially since it's very easy to lose your money in the process of testing signals.
At least there is a link to the work of the software, though..
But it seems like more of short-time trading or even scalping, seeing the prices at which it enters and goes out of the positions.
I agree - it's not a free piece of cake to make such actions
Signals will never work for people. And honestly, you're looking at a bad reputation down the line. People want guaranteed signals (which doesn't exist). But you know what will make you money, and not make people mad?
Sell membership to this group. And hold regular live classes of showing them how to do this themselves. As in how to install, how to connect and use your software
I bet you if you google this, not many good resource. It took you many painful years to do this, why not teach people?
I use Golang since I need concurrency (to process websockets as fast is possible) and have to utilize all the CPUs cores with business-logic. A better choice could be C++, but "life is too short for C++"
Python is good when you start programming or need to implement and debug difficult algorithm etc. It's great when you want to write code fast, but not that good when you need high speed/performance.
As for learning, IMHO, you should learn Python and use official Python library for Binance. Trade by yourself and experiment with automatization. Then add more and more complex logic to your code.
And don't trust to any analytics (especially the ones that wish to make you rich) and don't take technical indicators too seriously.
Noo, I am not going to give software to anyone
At least, I do not know at the moment, if people need some software - I don't think any of you would be happy to install a black box program to your computer.
That's one of the questions, though, I'd like to know when I started this topic. What would you consider to be the best way to deliver signals?
When I send signals through Telegram, I have two bottlenecks:
1. Telegram sends signals with delay, depending on your location and telegram data-center. Delay may take up to 19 sec. So some people will get signals earlier, which is not rightfully. So it's not suitable for HFT.
2. I am not sure that many people use Telegram.
Actually, at the moment I am not sure there to go next.
My plans currently:
1. Test real trades (finishing some preparations, hope to start tomorrow)
2. Learn things about trading view integration and connect software to it.
3. Process Futures, in progress, that wouldn't be fast.
Also, you may say that signals bad in some way and I will have to work on it further.
Well, scalping might be the best description for the software. I have no idea what may happen in an hour or later, but when I see an impulse at he moment I may try to predict grow in several minutes, and statistically it works at the moment.
However, I did not ever think about hiring traders as testers, but now I think it's an interesting concept. I have to find a way to ensure that they really tested, though.
I am not sure many people want to learn.. Most people want to get ready solution, and it is sad. Anyway, it's a nice approach and deserves to be carefully examined.

True. But if you have a product that is unique, and personally I think selling the skills and lessons to do this, I mean, I even still don't know how to use APIs on exchanges, I gave that up with forex long ago.
If you get just a few people willing to pay to learn, and subscribe to keep learning, it's more sustainable, and you gain a reputation.
That's still to me better than selling signals that won't work eventually. GL anyway tho
I think it won't be difficult to check the tester's work if he attaches screenshots from the exchange with his orders, which will be opened in accordance with the provided signals in telegram.
Maybe you're looking at the wrong place. Based on my experience on this forum and other social media, most people believe signal is a bad product for most people. Some influencers stop sharing signals because people found out they're doing pump & dump in the end. On the other hand, people seem to think that a trading tool that they can modify or have a good algorithm for is a better product, although most of them still fail to understand that a trading bot/scalper tool/etc is not a magic tool. I second the opinion that you probably should sell the software itself, not the signal.
This bold part is about all. You are not alone, we have seen 1000s of similar services across social media including this community hence people with past experiences on crypto trading do never mind testing your services even with demo account/ paper trading. Personally in my early days, I have tried straight away with paid subscription but I ended up unable to protect even my capital. Even on some days I was able to make some profits, the other days where stoploss hitting had eaten my capital. So, your disclaimer is all about. It is all boiling down to, like there would be only 10% chances for your signal to get me profits on the day when I try, right?
Yeah, that must be the ugly truth of what we come across the social media. Everyone wants to learn their own lessons, otherwise we there would not have been these many influencers on crypto trading niche alone.
For clarification, I am not selling signals, software, or ask for any money.
I might do it in some distant future, but currently don't.
The tg channel is free and open for everyone, signals appear in real time, you can visit it and make your own unbiased opinion.
You may collect some statistics from the channel, however, I plan to post accumulated statistics on daily basis inside the channel.
Here some latest signals results (images from channel):

Anyway, I wanted to inform you, that I added binance futures.
