New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin

I've got a thought! If anyone can spare a couple of hours, they could whip up: - I0coin (which is basically Ixcoin but with zero pregenerated blocks) - IBcoin (that’s Ixcoin with all the pregenerated coins set aside for bounties). The bounty block would come first, cranking out 200k coins or whatever Ixcoin is offering (with all bounty coins being public), and then the rest would follow Ixcoin’s pattern. In any case, I really think folks would ditch Ixcoin pretty quickly (or just see how ridiculous the whole Ixcoin idea is).

Damnit, keep quiet at least until I've finished mining 10 million coins on my 42 million limit mature by 2013 version :x

Of course, it's only an idea. What's wrong with generating and sharing ideas? It's always easier to complain though.

Man, if I had the coding knowledge or the BTC to pay someone who did, I would already have released five different variations, just to mock this fucking fool and all the people jumping on his bandwagon. I wish someone would do it so people would see what a joke it is. Oh, open source, I wish people didn't abuse you so.

1. Go learn the captive propagation of Acroprid corals...makes about as much sense as me learning to code. I don't sit in front of a computer for work. I'm not interested in learning. 2. I'll fix it. If I had the desire to pay someone the BTC...trolling isn't worth money. It would take some of the soul out of it.

Well, the differences from the original code aren't many. I bet we could make a little program to create currencies. You choose: - Name - BTC per block - Difficulty increase (...) Then click a button and that's it. You have another currency  I could try to do it, but I don't have the time at the moment...

Maybe I need a new hobby?? Unfortunately, I don't even know where to start, and I am not a huge fan of math. Biology is my game.

What was the point of this post if it wasnt intended to complain about the fork ? And yes looking at your OP it is indeed easier to complain.

But I think it is welcome, just for the learning experience. So I guess it actually has some value . And another Ixcoin clone would be very interesting in that respect.

Man, I was just about to make my own..  Oh well,  I am ready to start mining iocoin! Can I request that the difficulty adjustments set the difficulty to 1/10 of the normal value?

Be prepared for a bunch of people coming in here decrying this as a scam.  But you probably won't have to worry about this until about the 7th or 8th difficulty adjustments.

If you're going to make that seriously please adjust the difficulty if it hasn't changed for 1 month
