So, everyone has their own financial goals, right? That's why we work and invest in stuff like Bitcoin. But imagine if your Bitcoin investment suddenly makes you wealthy and gives you that financial freedom while you still have a job would you just quit or stick with it? Here are some reasons people might choose to quit or keep working: Reasons to quit: 1. To ditch the stress 2. Finally having the financial freedom to start fresh and live life on their terms 3. Not liking the job at all 4. Wanting to be independent and not tied down by a boss or company Reasons to continue: 1. They genuinely love their job 2. Wanting to keep that identity they’ve built 3. Their job helps with networking and connections 4. It aids their professional growth 5. They enjoy the routine of a 9-5 6. To maintain certain skills they’ve developed I'm really curious about what most of you would do would you quit or keep the job? And why?

Financial goals can be reached in diverse ways in our interesting world. Even a some random girl can sell her bathtub water to make millions so obviously anything can happen. As long as you have your skills and knowledge, finding another job is easy. The people who quit have many offers coming their way and they know this. But the people who cannot quit or have a fear of quittting, may lack this quality. Or simply think they lack it.

If it's a job full of stress due to waking up early going to work and closing by 4pm or 5pm and they pay isn't that big. I will quit my job to enjoy myself and set up a business that will be bringing me income. However, if it's an online job that I work from home without much stress, I will continue with my job because I love the job.

If I make huge amount of money from it my bitcoin investment, I mean an amount like $1 million or more, I will definitely quit my job, go on a holiday which would be about tourism. I will relax for like 2 weeks to a month. I will come back home to establish a better business. Earning such amount of money means I am greater than the job I have presently and I will quit the job and establish a business instead. But if I should quit my job in a way that I will not work anymore, not to established any business any business, that is not possible.

Since i won't be working basically for money to survive, by already attaining financial freedom, I will quit my current job and go into an occupation i sincerely enjoy and not just for the pay alone. If i love my job so much, I won't quit  because of the money, I don't think i am currently of age to stop working, I can own business and investment, but by managing them, I am also still working but better off not under someone else. The evidence of attaining financial freedom is becoming the boss of myself, I'm left with options to choose from, and not me settling with whatever comes my way, I choose where i want to be and what to do with my time.

If Bitcoin investment makes me wealthy there's no point of stressing myself doing a 9-5 job that would stress the hell out of me what time would I have to travel round the world to go enjoy myself with my family hell no I'm not doing that shit. The only thing I would do is to invest in other profit giving business, buy shares, invest in real estates cause it's a lucrative business in my country and then have good managers that would manage the investments while I enjoy my retirement with less stress. $5m is ok to set up some of the things I mentioned and I will still have enough money to travel round the world if I hit this kind of profit in Bitcoin investment I don't know how much I can get from working again that I wouldn't make in my own business.

I don't love my job that much. If I had enough money, I would just quit whatever I am doing and sit on my couch all day long while watching TV. And I doubt people who are doing jobs such as getting paid in monthly or weekly salary will be reaching the financial freedom status even with bitcoin investment, because everything is getting expensive and salary isn't getting any appraisal so better think about saving money when the compnay layoff rather than thinking about the early retirement.

This depends on the reason why the person is working.  If the person is working because he need to have money to support his family then I believe the person will quit his job if he become rich. I would do the same thing, leaving my job if and only if I secured the funds that would cover the next generation's future.  I mean, if the money can let the next generation live in luxury even without working.  Spending time with the people we love is the best thing, and now that the fund is secured then I will use my time accordingly without having stress and pressure from the job.

Always keep learning and if your job makes you happy, then keep doing it.  If not, find something that does and do that.  :-)

I think most people would quit their job. However, it doesn't mean they won't work again and will be feeding on their Bitcoin investments. They would work, but instead of being an employee, they would become an employer. Most persons would set up a business and employ others to work for them. Thereby, having the time to travel and enjoy their lives.

Personally I'd keep the job for a while, mostly for optionality and to avoid blowing up my identity and daily life. Once you're known as "the guy who hit it big", every cousin and coworker becomes an amateur venture capitalist with a heartfelt story. If I did step away, I'd do it slowly, cleanly, and without announcing why. Drop to part time, switch roles, take a long break, whatever. The goal is to keep skills sharp and keep yourself socially normal, not to turn into a rich goblin guarding a ledger.

There are a lot of rich people who are still continuing with their work on the routine level, for them working feels like putting their brain into active duty, working and relating to colleagues gives them a refreshing mindset, but they might not be stressed as their work schedule is perfectly prepared for their own convenience. So for me, I would still work, except am cought up by age, but hence am still young and active, I don't mind working inspite of the financial level attained.

Even the richest man on earth still takes his job very seriously.. just because you have bitcoin as a main stream of income, doesn't mean you should drop your job. Except when you do an overall analysis to compare both, you realise that your bitcoins investment can sustain you for years without you working then it's up to you. Some people do have love for their jobs but if it's not a self owned business most people are likely going to quit and start something of their own. There's a certain level of profits you would get from your bitcoin investment that would change your perspective about working for people.. just be sure you can sustain overtime without needing to go back to that job..

I don't have a job; I have been doing business, though it is small, but I am self-independent. Bitcoin investment gives you financial freedom, but jobs or business give you financial stability. So for Bitcoin investment, I wouldn't quit my job or business even if I became rich enough to live a luxurious life without a job or business. Because Bitcoin investment could dump anytime for any reason, the market would become in bad condition, and then I could survive from business earnings. So I feel it's important to have a stable income from a business, investment or job. If your investment gives you financial stability, whether it's online or offline, then it's possible to quit your job or business. So eventually you won't have to suffer even your Bitcoin portfolio dump.

You need to assess how wealthy you've become thanks to Bitcoin and how you've actually planned your investments. It doesn't make sense to quit your job if: You're always shouting "HODL" You're only considered wealthy for 10 years with the same lifestyle You can't guarantee your lifestyle won't changes suddenly, not just for you but also for your partner. Relying solely on the growth of your investments won't guarantee your daily needs for life.

If it's me and getting more wealth in crypto, I'll see if my main job is the best and makes me be myself, or just a job that requires more thought and is easier to stress. If it's a job that makes me stressed, I will resign and want to live according to what I want because I have financial freedom from the benefits of Bitcoin. But if it is my hobby at the same time, then it makes me more alive and the wealth from Bitcoin profits is a bonus and the foundation for growing my business and my hobby. Life is a choice, whether rich or poor, all determined by ourselves. Don't underestimate any job because it's the first reason why you can still survive until you profit from investing in Bitcoin.

This depends on the nature of the job if am doing the job because of money and it happens that gain financial freedom,  i will quit and then start something that gives me joy. There are people that are working because of money and not because they love the job they are doing. If the opportunity should present itself to them, for them to quit the job they will definitely quit without looking back. Majority of the masses are working to gain financial freedom and not because they love the jobs they are doing.

If Bitcoin gives you financial freedom, do you think you can be rich for ever when you don't have a means to sustain that money? Assuming Bitcoin boom and made you a millionaire, how can you sustain that money from getting exhausted, that's something you have to figure out first before you can conclude on quitting your job, if you can use the money to create other source of income, you have to do that first before you think of quitting your current job. If you quit your job and you don't have any plans in place, you might end up broke one day before definitely you are going to be spending the money and until it gets finished since you are not generating profit from any where. I won't go for a difficult job that I don't like, so even if am made a millionaire by Bitcoin, I won't have to quit my job unless there's a functional company under my name.

It's on off. If your jobs kills you then you take a break. You stop working some day and then what you do?

This is a good debate and the reasoning you gave for quitting and continuing the job is also relatable. Most people prefer to do their job because they have already built that discipline and hard-working nature that now they can't shake it off like that, they are programmed now to do the hard work and job. So even if they are financially independent, they need to work and I think they should work. Money is not everything, we work not only for money but also because of the main 2 reasons you already wrote, the point number 2 and 3 I am talking about. These points are the only ones that forces someone to do their job even if they are financially stable or not, although many before getting stable talk about how they will leave their job and start a business and only invest more and more in bitcoin. But when bitcoin dumps, it made all of such thinkers to think again if this is really what they want.
