If money wasn't an issue, what job would you go for?
Honestly, I would pick teaching kids, probably from 2nd to 8th grade. That's such an important time in their lives and really sets the foundation for their future.
If cash weren't a factor, what job would you pick?

Money is a strong economic tools, and money make work easy and smooth.
Infact there is no motivation in the current global economy without money, since the cost of living is already killing the leaving and everyone need to make additional sources of income.
For me i can see any job that i can do without money as payments, since even doing charity requires funding and motivations need money to oil it always.
I would do something fun like maybe a traveling vlogger. People on YouTube do that kind of stuff and lots of people seem to like it. You go see new places, meet new people, taste new food, enjoy hotels, friends etc, record your memories, post them on youtube and then you get paid for it. I dont see a bad thing about it. I know it takes serious social skills to make it work and video editing is also a serious work but it still looks attractive to me. I watch those people sometimes and their stuff on YouTube is quite addicting. Too bad many of us work because we have to and only a few of us actually like our jobs.
There are many fun jobs/businesses which you can do and make tons of money while enjoying what you do but somehow we are afraid of leaving our comfort zone and start a new journey.

I don't think its possible. All jobs comes with rewards, and mostly in the form of money. If its made through charity works, still it should be financed with money to make it possible. Either you do it without the aim of money, the fact remains that money these days make everything happen. If there is money, any event will not come into possibility. And mostly, those who are offered with jobs without money as a compensation, I don't think they will be patient and will continue doing so.

This is all about passion and calling and I think that I'll be in that part when I get older. In between of thinking of retirement and enjoying life or continuing with the passion and the thought of being called to help others. I think we're on the same page but I'd like to be into the more mature part like high school and college. It all relates of what I can contribute to them and tell them my stories on how I've been through with life. While your choice is shaping them and their future choices, I think that there's a need to guide in the occurrence of people that are experiencing mid-life crisis.
The only option is to share to help those in greater need, for example, with food, clothing, and other necessities. Besides that, I could also choose a service-oriented job, like being a mechanic, a teacher like you, or managing a nursing home.
But I believe anything that falls under the category of work can never be separated from money. Even the kindest person would want their job to provide them with money because that's the only way we can survive, using money as a medium of exchange for all our needs.

With all the rising inflation these days, working on a job without the motivation of money, I guess no one will bite the offer, or if ever there is, that's probably born with a golden spoon. But even wealthy people these days still get attracted with money, so maybe it would be rare to find people still getting the job without getting paid with money.
And when we say its passion, passion these days gets even more motivated when there is money. Greedy as it is, but let's face the reality that money is the ultimate goal of every human being, and when there is money, happiness will follow.
No mate, not that when we don't have a job but when money is not our motivation or priority. And as you can see, the OP answer that he will be a teacher, and teacher still has their own salaries.
To help the needy when we are also poor is surely a hard thing to do but you can try to work in a charity or on some government agency that focus on helping the need. That way you still can have your own salary even not too much. As for me, I'm currently working for coins and I find this this taxing in the overall body, so only if I don't prioritize money, I would love to do a more flexible work. A lot of them, as long as I think they are safe and I can handle them.
I will be glad to render a voluntary service to the community, this may come in form of teaching, seminar, coaching or even an establishment or through a community development project, such could also come in form of free water initiative, giving to the orphanage and many more, which are all under service to humanity.
I think you should start by letting them help with simple daily chores. If you have a business, let them help you there too, so at an early age theyre already exposed to real life and what you actually do. I think thats what most Chinese families do, theyre business-minded, and they pass the business to their kids when they retire. Thats why they train them while theyre still young.
I would volunteer in war-torn nations as a teacher. Even areas that have gone through a natural disasters might need volunteer teachers and I will gladly give my services freely. Giving to people who can't return my kind gestures gives me untold fulfilment. The sights of people suffering give me so much pain and the drive to support in any way I can. Becoming a social worker is my favourite.
We all have such desire inside. But money driven society has killed all such desires.
I think you should be saying when pay rate are too poor would I have done such job?
Because you can't afford to do any job without money being involved and when as a citizen you sure needs money to survive and sustain yourself and that of your family.
One can only have the choice and option to work if the pay rate are extremely low and would they accept such Jobs?
Now, considering how the economy is becoming too hard and difficult to, people wouldn't had such options to either being that selective on the types of jobs they could do.
I will do something related to my passion or hobby that would satisfy me if money were not a motivator. That can help me have the life that I want. But I don't want to be naive because I need money to live so I don't think anyone would refuse money as a thank-you. Perhaps in this matter, satisfaction will be their motivation to do something so they can see others smile with their help.
Overall, I would be doing the same things Im doing now, meaning I would keep looking for new ways to grow in the crypto sphere, but I wouldnt constantly feel the pressure to dive into the areas that are potentially more financially profitable. Instead, I would focus on what I genuinely enjoy the most. Its not the work itself that stresses me, but the constant anxiety that it might not bring the income I need. What I want most is to feel stability and confidence, not to change what Im currently doing.
In my case if money wasn't really such an issue at all, I would want to do something where life's a little slower and I could really connect with people. Maybe I would work in a small cafe which is not very busy, you have a few people who come and you gradually get to know them all.
Talking would break the monotony of someone else's day and it would be nice to have someone laugh at me, A job where there is not much pressure but being human is the main thing.
So we should forget about money in this discussion? Okay.
I'll do a job that involves knowledge, most likely being a teacher. It's a noble profession, and of course, through it, we're laying the foundation and playing a crucial role in shaping a child's character. I think it would be very rewarding, because we get to watch a child grow, and it would be both exciting and touching to see them become successful adults. Even though they might forget me, I don't care, because seeing their success means we've played our part well.
True, I don't think anyone would even like to work if money is not the motivation. There will be no point in working instead we all can just sit back and relax while we spend our time on a beautiful beach with beer in hand. This seems to good to be true. This can only be possible if we have a pile of money sitting in our account and have no possible ways to spend it in the entire lifetime. This might be a case for most of the wealthy people but yet they will still continue to work to earn more money and save for their next generations.
If money stops motivating us then the entire human life might turn lazy and even education will not be given priority. People will stop upskilling themselves and this will just start making them more lazy. People will even stop thinking about money at a point which will never be good to be honest.
If money was not a motivation I would have probably been doing jobs that are less demanding and less stressful but thinking about it now it seems like every job isn't stress free, don't get me wrong, I have working hard but since we are not talking about money right now then I should bring my hidden imagination to live. I would be a lifestyle vblogger and going around the world documenting my travel journey and lifestyle and have fun for once, I love kids and I enjoy being around them too so I can also be a teacher and impact knowledge to the little ones and the great thing about teaching is that you also get to learn and remind yourself of things you have long forgotten when you were younger.

If money weren't my motivation, I would have chosen a job related to agriculture, raising plants and some domesticated poultry. I love nature very much and wish I could find work that would allow me to enjoy it at the same time.
But in the current circumstances this is difficult to achieve because I am busy working to earn the money needed for my family's monthly expenses, and I barely manage to make ends meet with the high cost of living and rising prices.
