Mastercard, Western Union, and Worldpay are teaming up with the new Solana Enterprise Platform.
I still remember the first time I stumbled upon an article about Solana a few years back. It's way more efficient, cheaper, and faster compared to other altchains. Sure, they’ve got some issues with all those endless meme coins popping up, but honestly, the platform has so much more to offer. At least XRP (ugh) has some serious competition now in the real world.
XRP is vaporware, they are supposed to be the most used payment rail, yet nobody is using it. Every big player just use either Ethereum or Solana, XRP was never on the table to begin with .
Honestly, it's a breath of fresh air seeing Solana actually doing something useful with their blockchain beside meme coins. This blockchain is fast and matured despite the outage which now rarely happened anyway and honestly stablecoin transfer in there has been a blast.
I'm hoping that solana could take big chunk of stablecoin transfer from tron to their blockchain.
In short, you want to let us know that solana blockchain is becoming more useful. If what you posted about solana is true and new, yes I agree that it is true that solana blockchain is having more utilities. But solana is not yet rising again as of now but which is normal because the bear market is not yet over. So the price being sluggish is not happening to only solana.
They have been used by devs to have so much memecoins and many of those became successful during the launching for how it garnered so much attention by the community. But eventually, we've seen how most of those died. If it's about these partnerships are going to be for real use cases then that's good. And how many of these projects and networks we have seen that have been partnered to these companies, it's no longer such a hype IMO.
That's just genuine value vs the shit ton of garbage that memes has added to their chain and continue to add. As for XRP, I'd be more than happy if everyone finally realizes that it's one of the most useless crypto that almost nobody uses for daily real life activities other than the big banks that we're told are adopting it. Despite the memes shit on Solana, it's actually one of the most use chains.
That kind of partnerships will matter more for real adoption of Solana instead of stupid endless meme coin generator such as pumpdotfun. If they can bring more big news to their blockchain, i think it will slowly change people perception about Solana as a garbage blockchain used for the scamming purpose only.
So Solana can also regain their credibility by adding more and more competences partner to use their infrastructure. However, it will be so good if they get rid of scam pumpdotfun out of their eco to ensure scammers will be gone.
They do have issues with supporting the creation of endless meme coins
They pretty much still do till this date hahah but lets face it guys Solana is blazing fast and dirt cheap and platfrom like pump.fun just give the pandora box to everyone this is why there is still an endless memecoin.
But other than that I do really like the Sol because their speed and fee, the only problem in my opinion is lack of DApp I mean there are ton of DApp on EVM because solana isnt evm compatible their Ecos isnt grow like EVM did.
But everyone like news like this when crypto had real utility till the Real World companys started to notice
There were attempts of L2 for Solana to overcome the problem by creating an EVM compatible sidechains but they failed and nobody really uses them, such as Eclipse, and SOON.
Although that is undeniable, Solana still got some good DApp going. Their only mistake was not trying to market their chain for institutional settlement and Dapps earlier to compete with ETH but instead focusing on memes.
Yeah it did, there's not just 1-2 project that attempts to bring evm into solana ecosystem. But in my opinion the project didnt work well, heck the Layer 2 that works well is only on Ethereum, in my opinion. Bitcoin also had an EVM-compatible layer 2 but not hype as eth layer 2.
Memecoin is the problem, they should at least regulate or do something with it. It becomes the plague in solana or crypto as a whole
This is good news for Solana holders, although today did not have an increase in price it does not matter because now is not the time for them to increase, now is the time to experience a decline in all altcoins because now is the time to be bearish.
It seems that I have a view new although meme coin still be disease in solana but development Solana still has potential good potential at market bullish later.
XRP is just playing out its narrative and there are many conspiracies in it that should not be believed, but XRP is garnering a lot of attention, as it creates the illusion of being real for its holders.
Irrespective of whether Solana price responds immediately to this news or not, I have always known that Solana is a solid project and SOL a good asset to buy for long term. In my recommendation of altcoins to buy, $SOL is among the first choice because there are a lot of great things that will happening to Solana that will leave investors smiling. Imagine how great it will be when this development materialises and banks and other payments systems start integrating it.
The new corporate collaboration sounds promising. I can say that Solana has mostly experienced positive developments. Even during slow times, it's known for good news and agreements. I've never been an investor, perhaps because I was too late. If they expand the Solana network into real-world use cases through such company agreements, then Solana could certainly embark on a new journey.
