I came across this airdrop that seems to be a total letdown. CEXP and BECEXY from CEX.IO and CEDEX promised a lot but honestly, it feels like a scam. I mean, the hype was big but the execution? Not so much. Anyone else feel the same way about this? It's hard to trust these projects after stuff like this.

The pivot from a promised native exchange token (CEKX) to an unrelated Solana meme coin (BeCEIXY) shows a complete shift from building verifiable value to chasing hype and short-term speculation. It’s a huge loss of trust and a significant disappointment for everyone who invested time in 'farming' it.

Cex was once became a top exchange before the emergence of Binance. And with the airdrops in general, never hope that they're going to be as big and successful as the first ones that have taken theirs. Because if you're hopeful with that, you're going to be dismayed before it even become a reality. It's a way to market the exchange still and to get more users back to them. Not all airdrops are going to be profitable as what people might have think of.

So I made the right decision to stop participating in the Cedex airdrop, which is actually a Telegram tapping airdrop. There were too many delays. I feel that it will take years before they actually announce their TGE. There were airdrops I participated in that came and went, yet they kept delaying the allocation. Airdrops can exhaust your patience, so you must know when to stop participating and hoping, or you feel sorry for holding on too long.

Worst Airdrop? I think you are still a newcomer  First of all the era of airdrops ended a long time ago. Airdrops could actually get you a decent amount of money for very less effort as just signing up. To be disappointed in a failed airdrop in 2025 is a shock to be honest. These fails now happen left, right and center, unlike back then. You just have to suck it up, accept the loss and move on and maybe a lesson learned to waste your precious time on some of these airdrops.

Airdrops are no longer a thing in 2025. And CEX.IO doesn't have the hype like it was 2018 if I'm not mistaken. So don't be surprised though, they might have been late by 7 years, lol. It started with Binance and so with that since they are the prime mover, then like Bitcoin, they will remain on top of the league. Powertap? Or simply tap to earn? it was the hype at the start of the year and soon died down as well.

There are still people earning with airdrops, but its not the same as before on where they spend less time since now they need to exert effort just to qualify. But earning chance is so less so that's why much better not to participate since most likely they won't earn with scam airdrops now. That power tap thing they participate? the hype didn't take long since most of projects copy that concept turn to be a scam. Better to spend time on other things since there are lot of challenging also rewarding activities they can find on crypto space.

Retrodrop is still part of the airdrop & this year, I still see many people getting lucky from it. Not all airdrop programs are trash, some are still worth pursuing, the important thing is that we must have good analysis to identify which projects will provide big rewards at the end of the program. I've 2 questions for you, mate: 1. When was the last time you participated in an airdrop/retrodrop program? 2. How much did you earn in your last airdrop/retrodrop?
