The strikes happening in Iran are throwing a wrench into travel plans for neighboring countries in the region. Flights to the Middle East are getting cancelled left and right. Anyone planning a vacation there is probably having second thoughts and thinking about rescheduling for their own safety. Plus, people traveling for work are also stuck. A bunch of events, including sports, are being reconsidered. The Middle East is more than just oil; it's a key spot for tourism, and this ongoing chaos is gonna leave a mark.
To give you a clearer picture, some airports in the Middle East have actually shut down. This is a big deal since major airlines that usually have layovers in those countries can’t operate anymore.
Most importantly, we need to think about the safety of the civilians living in the Middle East. Let’s all keep them in our thoughts.
Well, tourism is now canceled. The tourism industry can only exist in peacetime. During the war, refugees appeared instead of tourists. There are also very rich refugees, as they are now in the Emirates. Meanwhile, a huge number of people are unable to leave the region, trapped as they are.
You have expressed so heartbrokenly and that is just the truth. Political and economy crisis can really cause chaos in the economy system and residents and tourists also have to be affected from their respective bases and appointments gets disappointed with activities restricted.
Of course if you check those ways round as a leader and you don't buy to those inhumanity political practices and you get their with the mindset of fixing the system, you all be fired or punished for trying to make governance suitable for the masses.
Most of those wars or crisis are more of this power tussles and supremacy, lifes does not cause the leaders platter of gold to control inflation and poverty.
War at the global regional levels such as the US, Israel and the Iran war does have the momentum to manipulate economy and social system negative entirety.
This was a well known side effect of any war the would be waged on Iran and it's a difficult situation. The leadership there was truly evil and had just recently murdered thousands of people who were protesting for more freedom from religious oppression. However to assassinate the leader of a sovereign country like that is yet another terrible precedent set by Donald Trump, who was clearly coerced into the situation by the Israeli government. The more worldwide affect is going to be the impact of fuel prices, because it is a very useful transit route and many ships will now have to avoid it. This will drive up prices of fuel and cause inflation all through the supply chain, which might be fine if there was any sort of plan for what happens next - but there was zero thought given to that which is typical of this rather dumb president.
I have a friend that moved to Saudi Arabia recently, so in the middle of the chaos and how it has been on the news and on social media, I asked him how it is over there but he was relaxed to my happiness and although he said that there have been few striker but it hasnt come close to where he lives or any close place to his.
Also the company he is working for has had meeting with them and have passed information about Saudi Arabia commitments to protecting them and other lives.
It's sad to watch military actions on Iran take away the non material needs of travelers and tourists. Terrorist are all over the middle east, the air on that region will only be flawn by military aircrafts heavily dropping bombs on the streets and buildings. It's risky out there, at the moment, people shouldn't think of going on vacation to war related nations.
Everything within the Middle East should be kept on hold for now, Iran is not taking it lightly because of their supreme leader that was killed. I support the flight cancellation because of impending danger within that area now. I heard some parts of Dubai have started feeling the hit, and their are lots of tourist there. My advice for people is stay safe in this kind of situation, though you might not know where and when the next hit will come, but you just have to stay vigilant and look for safety net to hang on till you finally go out of that place.
In conflict situations such as these, the nations affected are always not the ones at war for sure and many at times, you find neighboring countries being affected too, not just in terms of conflict but, you find them being sort out for Asylum and tend to have more refugees at these times. All that has ways of telling on the economy of both nations at war and neighboring countries.
It in many ways affects the way of living and culture too. Thats why, those of us that are living in peaceful nations wouldnt understand fully what it truly means.
Yeah, until this war is over before anyone visit the Middle East for tourism I think, because even the people living there are living in uncertainty and the even leave the region is kinda hard right now because theyre only limited flights.
The Tourism industry in the Middle East will be deeply affected by this wars and they might take longer to recover again
Wars are never an option..
Safety over every other thing. Tourism, vacation, sports, and work can wait because life itself is important. And the person who lives, will on some other occasions have the time to do what they miss doing because of war outbreak. Enjoyment and entertainment doesn't end, it is what that is available, waiting for us when we are ready.
The affected countries of where they US- Israel, Iran war will be affecting, I think before this year end, normalcy will return to those areas for people to go to for tourism and vacation
Iran warned Donald Trump and his allies that the war they are starting will have a devastating effect on them. Maybe people thought Iran was joking. Now the world is feeling the consequences of this senseless war. It's a pity that civilians are the ones who are bearing the consequences. Those countries in the Middle East that thought that the US would protect them are disappointed. Iranian missiles and drones have been able to penetrate their airway. Dubai and other nations that have spent billions to build their tourism sectors are seeing their efforts crumble before their eyes. Dubai will no longer remain thesame after this war.
The lessons to be learned are that it is more important to promote regional peace than to rely on external bodies for protection. The Middle East should learn to settle its differences without Western influence.
The US government is claiming that it will not be a long war. That might be how the US felt when they attack Iraq and Afghanistan. You will never know a long war until you start fighting.
When two leadership fight each other, the followers suffer and you know who suffer the most? It's the children. A full grown adult that is independent can run miles away, make a decision and never come back again but a child know nothing but to depend on an adult. This is why we end up raising children with gate towards country, who will not be mad if you grow up in a society where one mad president bomb your country for years until you become adult.
I don't understand how tourism work but the fight in the middle east didn't start today, there were predictions everywhere that Trump and Isreal was going to strike Iran before March 09 and they did, many people saw it coming but nobody expected it sooner. If I'm planning on going vacation in such place in this kind of time, then it means I don't know what I'm doing, safyet comes before any other things but that's not a justification for the outcome though.
They go on causing unrest around the world and keep up with their sermons of diplomacy but they are majorly responsible for the terrorism in the middle east, look who supports Syrian president till date. They have never come in as mediator to settle a dispute successfully. They can only boast, they can not march on foot against Iranian soldiers who are not scared of death. The funny thing is that the orange pig claimed Venezuela all to themselves, so they won't be affected by the hike in oil prices and shortage.
This is proof that war never brings peace. Everyone is afraid of the destructive activities of war. The devastation of war terrifies people. Due to war, business, education, travel, everything is disrupted. People in war-torn areas are forced to withdraw from their normal lives due to war. In war, such incidents are seen that an industrialist suddenly sits down on the road, one of the reasons for this is destruction.
Surely no one will come to spend their vacation in war-torn areas, so naturally the tourism industry will be disrupted. We never want war, war never brings peace.
And unfortunately, this chaos might probably last longer, since Iran did its promise to carry out revenge.
Now, my heart goes to the OFW's who are deeply affected with the current situation. They're put in a trap and has nowhere to go. I just hope that this war might not end up with its worst, otherwise a lot of countries will also be compromised.
Tourism becomes a high-earning asset in middle east countries, but right now, tourism is useless and ineffective.
True. But what can refugees do if airports are closed for purpose. Sad reality, but maybe this is the safest option for now.
Where there is war, chaos follows. And worst is, everyone could turn as victims no matter how they avoid it.
I pity those who were trapped. Tourism is now cancelled. But the destructions we are seeing right now might not be the end yet, there's probably more to come.
Peace is important for the country's economy to progress. The Middle East is a major tourist destination, so if the war continues, tourism will not exist in that region.
The Middle East war has a huge impact on the rich travellers, and more so for third-world countries, because it's a work destination, and of course, this is the source of their oil to run their economy; it's not only a simple war but a possibility of the collapse of the economy of many countries.
Tourism should be the least of concern of anyone now with the chaos that has erupted in the Middle East. Many flights are not taking off again and it even makes it impossible to leave the country or even get into the country as it stands now. There is never a best time like peace, I just imagined how much Ive been damaged in this few days of war within these countries. I wish this will stop soon, and a resolution is find earnest or many lives and properties will be affected the most.
About flights closing operation in the Middle East, I saw in the news that Cristiano Ronaldo has left Riyadh with his family for safety using his private jet after a threat has been issued by Iran to target Saudi Arabia also/ maybe they already did. His families safety first over his football career and thats best for him.
Tourism and the economy need security above all else. Neither tourism nor the economy in general can flourish in a region rife with tension. Fortunately, this war in the Middle East is temporary, and when it ends, everything will return to normal.
Wars are the worst thing because they not only disrupt tourism but life itself. Here in my country, we suffered from wars for a long time, and tourism almost completely stopped, even though it was thriving in the not-so-distant past and provided a very important source of revenue for the government. But war changed everything.
It would appear so indeed, im just praying this doesnt turn into an all out war that leads to an actual World War 3 because the casualties will be something very dangerous with all these news weapons being displaced recently. We can really say the hot topic is oil here, something is behind all these tension for real and we have to look into it and get it solved, somehow i think. I cant believe i just woke up one morning and missiles are flying everywhere, oh man, i pray we do survive this.
