So, the US president just announced that they’ve captured the president of Venezuela and his wife, bringing them back to the States to face charges. They say he’s a threat to global peace. But here’s the thing: when it comes to justice and international law, especially regarding sovereign nations, there has to be some kind of line drawn. America and its allies have been slamming Putin for his military moves in Ukraine, claiming it’s a breach of international law and a threat to world peace. Just last week, Trump condemned China for gearing up for military action against Taiwan.
The US has been vocal against China, even promising to back Taiwan in defending its sovereignty. But then I wake up to the news of the Venezuelan president being captured. It makes you wonder, is the world really fair? I’ve realized that justice and law seem to be whatever the superpowers decide they are. What they label as good is good, and what they call evil is definitely evil. Honestly, there’s no real difference between what Putin is doing in Ukraine and what Trump is doing in Venezuela.
The US has also backed Israel’s military actions against Palestine, even though the rest of the world has been against it. And they’ve sent tons of support to Ukraine, including military hardware. It’s crucial to understand that no country should feel entitled to impose their values on others.

Taiwan and Venezuela is not comparable.
Venezuela and Panama fits much better. Manipulated elections in both.
Full scale, vs Scissor approaches.
After this i'm not surprised with any news which reported or suspected that there are deal of power share between big power country, like Rusiaan finally seized some part of Ukraine, China conquered Taiwan adan US control latin america. In multipolar world with many big power, US action can be justification for other country to take military action to fullfill its national interest.
Talking about Maduro's arrest bring back history of Saddam Husein's arrest and also Noriega's. US use WMD issue to attack Iraq and Venezuela, for maduro case, US widening WMD definition to be everything that can bring mass death and strategic threath to US citizen including synthetic drug (fentanyl). Trump said Fentanyl is a weapon of mass destruction. On policy perspective it can be described that every country who produce, protect and distribute fentanyl categorized as owner of WMD. US also use narcotics trade issue to toppling Noriega. Matter of fact biological & chemical weapon which alleged by US was never found in Iraq, US use WMD issue to get legal and psikological trigger for invasion to get its strategic interest on targeted country such as Iraq oil sources, panama canal, the biggest oil resource, cut of influence of Rusia-China-Iran in Latin America and symbol of the ending anti US sentiment.
From US action, other country can redifining threat and learn how to make ther intervension legitimate. World peace, sovereignity and international law increasingly vague. Every country watch new threat to global south country which politically weak and easy to be accused as non conventional threat as US did toVenezuela, Iraq, Panama and other trouble maker country.

I would not be holding brief for the United States of America, as the action that was taken by President Donald Trump to invade Venezuela and adopt her President is a clear case of wrongful invasion. However I am of the opinion that the citizens of Venezuela are not complaining, as a matter of fact, they came out in high altitude to celebrate this invasion, it was looking as though they endorsed it, from the interviews I've watched, some where of the opinion that Maduro never won the elections that brought him to office, that he used state powers to bamboozle every opponent's and went on to declare himself as a winner. Regardless of how you see things, America though acted as a big brother, the intent might look shady but an action needed to be made, the day citizens lose their voting strength that day democracy dies, Maduro needed to me reminded that in all of his shenanigans, somebody was watching him.
The Venezuelan people did not complain because they long for a free Venezuela. Thanks to the capture and intervention of the United States, a rapid improvement is expected, and the stable economy they once had will be restored, as it remains a powerful country with large reserves of strategic materials for its economy

And still on the same topic of economic reserve, is the same reason why so many persons believe that the USA have actually done the capture just for the same reason as they feel the United state of America especially Mr president Donald Trump is also after the control of this oil reserves and the president in question is not entirely cooperative so the best is to wipe him out but the charges at him is that he trafficks alot of drugs and other illegal stuffs to the United States.
Actually, a quick recovery of our economy depends on the next actions of those who are left in power here and how willing foreign oil companies are willing to get in this country in order to invest in infrastructure and exploitation of oil.
To me it seems obvious Trump wants to use the oil of this country in order to economically affect the Russian Federation, Iran and China, but that is just a theory of mine.
People here in Venezuela remain cautiously optimistic, were still have corrupt and bad people in positions of power, and we need to be careful with what we say, because people here can be arrested for celebrating the capture of the crook of Maduro.
Venezuelan tactics are: please the press arrest the rest.
Repression is reigning at this very moment. Few people travel, for a good reason.
