Hey everyone. Just curious about your thoughts on Litecoin. Do you think it can bounce back to 70? Or has it totally fallen off people's radars?

Looking at the charts, I don't see how is Litecoin acting different from the rest of the market so it's probably not going anytime soon back to those levels, unless Bitcoin sees the 100k mark, or the ATH again. I do however think that Litecoin seem to be losing its popularity compared to the previous year. Everyone seem to be focused on either BTC, or Monero.

It's excruciatingly sad. I've been waiting for at least a little growth for almost a year now so I can get out of this game...

If you are a holder, do not panic, just continue to hold litecoin if $70 is your target but the time litecoin will get to that price may be during bull market. I still think litecoin will still go above $120 in the next bull market. Those called privacy coins pumped at the same time. I means zcash, monero and dash. All of them pumped from their 2022 low to more than 8 times. I think only monero got to all-time high.

The thought of it dropping to 30–35 really scares me ://

I am sure that Litecoin has enough potential to stick around for a while yet.  So long as Bitcoin continues setting the pace, there will be nothing more reliable than the "silver" version of BTC. It seems to me that Litecoin is greatly underappreciated in terms of what it has to offer.  While other projects seek new trends, LTC keeps on doing the hard work.  Many people simply forget that LTC continues to receive timely updates, unlike many projects of the older generation. MWEB (MimbleWimble), which allows making transactions fully anonymous, brings Litecoin on par with such projects as Monero and Zcash.  A price of $100 or higher seems rather a realistic goal for the near future.

If litecoin will be at $30, I expect bitcoin to be to be around $50000 or lower. Litecoin cannot be very volatile at the price it is presently. But another thing is that litecoin is bitcoin carbon copy with many upgrades and even lightning network. Although, this does not mean. It is one of the old project thst people can still noticed. Having a marketcap of $4 billion is still huge. But other chains that offer something different later took over.

LTC isn't a good investment on long run. It has already had its momentum a long time ago, but as the market continued being developed and new altcoins were launched, the trends changed quite fast and Litecoin didn't manage to maintain its position. Of course it may be still possible for investors to profit through LTC once a new bull run takes place. However, the point is that superior profit can be made through trending altcoins in the future, so I don't see why someone would still go for this specific altcoin which used to be the silver of crypto industry in the early years.

Litecoin is a very old and popular altacoin. At one time, Litecoin was ranked third in CoinMarketCap. It's down a bit, but I don't think it's over. The price of Litecoin, which once rose above $400, is now down to $53. But I think Litecoin can do well again in the future. If the buying pressure rises again, I believe that Litecoin will be in a good position in the bull run. And yes, there is never a vacancy in this market, Liteco is performing a little badly, but I am hopeful that it will do well in the future and Bitcoin is the best and I think Monirul is a good coin.

It didn't moon during last altcoin season so why it would do better in this bear run, which is not ending any time soon. If you are afraid of 30-35 for some reason, then sell now, because that's totally possible. I don't see any reason why this would ever go back to ath, because there's just not enough community and money to keep all all the coins in the high market cap. And even if this would be one of the good and decentralized ones, it lacks on other attractive features.

Image Source: Marketcapof To get that price, Litecoin (LTC) MC would need to be around $5,4B, as Stellar (XLM) currently has. That price target can also be achieved by pairing Bitcoin (BTC) with it in the market. So, just wait until the Bitcoin (BTC) price rises & the Litecoin (LTC) price will surely rise as well, but hey, why not just buy Bitcoin (BTC) right away? I don't think so, we can see that Litecoin (LTC) is still in the top 25 in terms of market capitalization. This industry is growing so fast, the decline in interest in previous altcoins such as Litecoin (LTC) is due to the capabilities that this blockchain doesn't have compared to other mainstream blockchains besides Bitcoin (BTC) today.

But I consider Litecoin still one of the coins in the high market cap.   It consistently ranks as one of the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap, and it has been able to weather many different cycles of the market while many "flashier" coins have gone to zero. Litecoin does not rely on any hype, slick marketing, or fancy features for promotion, but simply strives to be a cheap, fast, and reliable decentralised digital currency for transferring value.  While it may not have the largest online presence or user base compared to other popular cryptos, its continuing use with payment processors such as BitPay demonstrates that Litecoin continues to be a useful payment option.  Ultimately, the reason that Litecoin remains steadfast is due to its consistency and reliability in the face of extreme volatility and short-lived hypes and trends.

$70 isn't that far from the current price. And so, if that's the only goal that you'll wait for that price, I think that it is possible. No. Maybe the new investors are not aware of it. But who can't forget the silver of the cryptocurrencies? I think it hasn't got that much attention because of how low the price is. But I bet who's on this market for so long is aware that it also has halving.

It has potential to hit $70 sometime in the near future, at least one more time, so worry not if you are holding for a while. If you look at the chart, $70 can easily be achieved However, I am afraid Litecoin is going to be like those other OG coins that are not so popular in the long run, and therefore they slowly sink down the CoinMarketCap. Right now LTC is at number 21, this is a coin that used to be in the top 10.

I could see no difference with other altcoin in the market, Litecoin is no longer having mysterious moves anymore because it's uniqueness no longer bringing demand, what alt do I creating something that could cause more demand, Litecoin no longer have such. It's just another Old coin that will fade away just like others had done.

Litecoin has always been a strong one, while it may not be as highly ranked as it used to be and I do desire to see it at top 10, the reality is that even though it is not that high anymore it is still a strong one. The thing is, most of coins that become higher than litecoin, end up going under litecoin with time, so there are some trendy ones that goes up, they go down under litecoin eventually. But the reality we have is that there are better ones who have been above litecoin for 5+ years right now, some are reaching a decade in a few years. This is why we should not consider this as something that would be all that bad and we could do this it is not that crazy to think how litecoin is good, but not the best at all.

Litecoin has smooth network for the low rate of users on the network, the fees are great and they make profits out of people who don't wish to pay high on Bitcoin fees, mainly during the ordinal spam, I think of the term 'litecoin' an alternative for Bitcoin whenever the network is in a bad shape, Bitcoin has not been doing bad lately, so Litecoin isn't expected to grab the attention of Bitcoin users who wish for an alternative to end or finish a transaction.

It's not a good coin to hold for long term. It has old tech and it has no utility. Even the creator of litecoin was not even keen to keep hold their ltc. So i think this coin is exist due to the bitcoin. It's a bad coin to hold for long term. It will. However, it totally depends on the bitcoin. The better you go to CMC, then see its weekly timeframe. It's always bouncing from 40 bucks to the 100++ when bitcoin was pumping. yet it's moving down when btc is also down. Logically it can go up once btc can be bullish again, but idk how long it is. As i know it's quite easy for ltc to go to the 70 again as long as it's not losing its double digit price.

What I have come to understand with coins is that, whenever bitcoin market pick like when a new app time high benchmark is made alot of other coins will recover even if there don't mark a new price benchmark some will even pass the previous record like ethereum during the last bull market it price recorded a new all time high after a very long time of resistance.
