I've been mulling over something that's been bothering me lately. In this country, it's strange that when a young person finally starts earning decent money, instead of getting support, they're treated like they're guilty of something. You see young folks doing well, and the first thing authorities think is not "how did you achieve this?" but "you must be up to something shady." Sure, I know crime rates are high here, but that doesn’t mean every young person making cash is a crook. Instead of encouragement, we’re just feeling scared, and it's making a lot of us hesitant to engage in politics or society. In my area, the military doesn't even try to ask questions properly; they just whisk you away to their base or station, knowing they'll probably take your money before letting you go. Lots of young people nowadays are freelancers, traders, coders, content creators, crypto enthusiasts, or small business owners who transformed their lives using the internet, but the system just ignores that. It honestly seems like the government and military don’t want us to succeed young. They’d rather see us struggling and reliant. The second you try to elevate yourself, you become a target. What would actually help is for them to set up policies that back youth entrepreneurship and assist us in being productive and independent. So that young people wouldn't have to step into a new area, worried about whether the cops will be after them, even when they're just trying to work legitimately.
