We all know altcoins aren’t what they used to be. Bitcoin had its time in the spotlight before pulling back. I’d say the top performers were definitely XRP, which shot up around 300-500%, thanks to Ripple’s regulatory clarity, legal victories, and increasing use cases in institutions and payments. Real-world asset (RWA) tokens have also done quite well because of their yield appeal and growing interest from institutions, plus some meme coins saw decent gains of about 30-50%. Right now, I’m all about tokens with deflationary features because, aside from utility and market exposure, scarcity is what really drives supply and demand classic economics, right? Tokens like NS, BGB, and BNB are great examples of this. Next year could be wild for crypto, so getting ahead of the game is super important if you don’t want to miss out. What’s your game plan for 2026?

If you're wondering my plan is that to allocate a few percent to the memes, 25% to the RWA, 25% to the Exchange coins and the rest is going to the L1 blockchain. Let's imagine if the bearish market to happen, i believe the only coin/token that have active income that can exist. Meanwhile, the rest will disappear due to the bearish and no fund to survive. So it's wise to hold the token that have utility only. It's to ensure the token that we hold won't be left behind caused by lack of funding for the operational purpose. However, i don't forget to also put some for degen purpose with the hope it can give me thousands percent return when the bull will come. As for your idea, i like it considering you're all putting your money to the exchange token, which has so many utilities. However, BNB seems very pricey. Why don't you consider to invest in another token such as OKB or Aster?

Token are risky investment especially when they are in their TGE stage, this is why I have not been so passionate about investing in new projects. New projects should be treated like gambling due to the high failure rate of them which we have seen in the past. Instead of going for those new tokens, I prefer investing in established altcoins like SOL, ZEC, ADA and the others. We know that the chances of failure of these ones is very low so they are safer than tokens.

To acquire more Bitcoin and as well as Ethereum. BNB is also part of my strategy and maybe looking into some shilled tokens (LOL!!). 2026 is said to change the cycle and will create new all time highs but I don't believe that and I need to see it more. So, that's the major plan and that's to keep acquired with Bitcoin and continue to hold it for as many I can because there won't be no more new bitcoins printed and it will be harder to accumulate each year that passes by.

the higher the risk the higher the reward with the bear cycle seemingly to come next year, people might be desperate to earn some huge wins and they might want to do it with altcoins and with newer projects specifically because they have higher ceiling for increased returns

None of them. I think they are all bad and there is no reason for me to invest into any tokens at all. There is a very high chance that 2026 will be a bear year, which means that prices of everything from small tokens to bitcoin all will go down. Because of this reason I think it will be possible for me to avoid anything further and will do as good as I possibly could do and that will get me a good return. Many people make a mistake of thinking that they are going to get a better result if they buy something small because the chance to go up is higher, but that will not happen. Which is why I will only be buying bitcoin as it is going down so I can have a lot of bitcoin and be ready for the future bull run when that happens.

I really only hold BTC, ETH, & SOL. 99% is BTC and the rest is to play with. I like staking ETH as I’ve been doing that for many years now and using SOL for liquidity pools is fun to see massive gains. I have never had a need for any other altcoin though. If I don’t use it for something, I’ll never buy it as there is no need.

According to past history, the market may be bad in 2026, so all currencies may fall in price. Although many people think that Bitcoin will make a new ATH in 2026, it seems unbelievable to me, but let's see what happens. However, I will try to accumulate more BTC in 2026 and also try to buy BNB with some money. But I do not plan to buy other bad tokens, because they are very risky, and no one can say which altcoin will do well.

XRP hit the jackpot with its legal maneuvers, and RWAs (tokenized real-world assets) are generating a lot of buzz because of the money they're making. And memecoins... well, they deliver what they deliver: modest but volatile returns.

Traditionally next year is supposed to be bearish, but this year was supposed to be bullish also, so let's see what happens.. for your question, BNB has the potential to get to $10k for obvious reasons, BGB isn't left behind too( alot of utilities, ecosystem expansion, payfi integration) means more, that's why I'm leveraging the crazy 48h phases to improve my collection there, phase 7 is on currently. crazy48h phase7. I think two exchange tokens is okay, I have aster but the price trend hasn't been favorable after that run initially so we'll see. Don't you think newer projects are bound to rug the hardest next year? It was seen this year too don't forget. It's a good choice, if BTC goes sub $60k I'll be going in heavy too cos it's an opportunity..

Next year could be an amazing year for the industry, but the strongest narrative still lies with the upcoming winter that begins this month. So, to prepare for the worst, I'll continue to accumulate as much Bitcoin (BTC) as I can. There's no point in holding altcoins with high upside potential if Bitcoin (BTC) isn't performing well, I prefer to take a conservative path.

Yeah provably that it is since we have a slight bad ending year with Bitcoin, so maybe this situation bearish trend will continue to exist and lots of people might get afraid to buy Bitcoin for fear of losing on sudden declines that might happen. But even if that situation will occur still same with you I have small confidence to hold some alts because as what we have always notice once Bitcoin dumps almost all alts will follow. So if they are going to buy that is Bitcoin because they can provably earn good profits with it if market will start to recover. This is usual situation happening since there's no always bearish condition on Bitcoin.

I don’t think I have any better strategy than continuing to buy more Bitcoin because I was really disappointed by those altcoins I invested in. Without that reason, I don’t really have any altcoin in my plan to invest in for now. It may happen that I buy later, but I don’t have any in mind at the moment. I just want to keep accumulating Bitcoin because it seems that Bitcoin is what the crypto market is about now. Before, we used to have an altcoin season, but this time around, there is nothing like an altcoin season. If the Bitcoin price drops, that is what will determine other market conditions. So, for now and next year, I will stick to only Bitcoin and see how it works out next year.

Having a bad ending is a good thing for the smart investor. Many will run away like you said, and those people selling and getting out will mean cheaper bitcoin for us once again. People never learn their lesson, price always goes down after a bull run and they do not see that, it is once again happening, and we know that even though it will go down, it will eventually go up and break all time high price once again, which means if we keep on buying while it is going down, then we are going to profit when it is going up. Newbies and panic traders do not realize this even though it happens every four years, so we are going to take advantage of their mistakes and make some profit from it and turn their mistakes into our advantage.

The same thing I always tell myself when picking altcoin to invest in nowadays, it's scary when choosing coins to throw some amount of money as investment because many coins ended poorly this period unlike before when altcoin usually perform excellently. Is it during the bull season, you'll know the strength of altcoin that can withstand the pressure of bouncing back, many coins that seems to be strong at first turns out to be dust and remain down forever. The best altcoin I can boldly choose during my investment journey next year should be the ones that had stood the test of time and still experiencing positive results over time.

I'm more of a follow the trend. I kind of don't have a plan for 2026 as of now. Heard rumors here and there that next year will be bearish, although rn we're kinda in a bearish season already. But still. I'm hoping for major alts to perform well next year. As well as RWA projects. Probably gonna have to invest a bit for alts and save stable. And also going for some sale. Most sales nowadays are a hit and run so it's always good to know which one to pick and when to sell out.

Almost each year, many are positive about cryptos, while some are basing on the patterns like the 4 year market cycle. But in regards to that, I think we already experience it so they can believe that the following years are not good anymore as this year. The winter thing that you said there seem to be another example of it. But if you believe that the market will continue to get worse, then why still continue accumulating? . Would it be better to lay-low for a while though? I mean for a change, especially if we are here for a long time now.

Isn't it too early to start speculating the altcoins market most especially those newly lunching one in the coming year 2026 because a lot of them are going to be making their entry into the market for the first time and we can only know their capabilities and capacity when their present their Blue print and road map back up with existing ecosystem that back the in the market, if nothing of such is gotten in terms of tools for new projects, it will be better to remain with the already known altcoins like BNB solo XRP or better still remain with Ethereum or Bitcoin.

Nothing new I'll just invest in top 20 tokens but need to check who are in that projects, their goals and future plans, research what are they doing, and if it seems to be real I'll invest on it, mostly ill check if some big names are really in that project or are they using others chain or incorporate to their system, that would be a one signal that I'll invest on it, sometimes news also good source if all of those are met I'll invest on it and then take profit when needed because its not always up, their are days or year its down so better ready to take profit for other investments.

My trust on alts is not high the same as Bitcoin that's why I don't think I would choose the top 20 because I'm more selective for choosing the best alts in the market if I'm going to invest with those coins. But if I would choose still my top alt to choose will be ETH,BNB, SOL and XRP. I provably ignore the other option because I think this is better rather than trying to put money on multiple risky coins and tokens. Many choose to ignore the top alts for thinking that they can earn more money just like what they see on other people online on those meme coins and other altcoins in the market, but sad to see that many didn't get those results that they expected to get since lots of those alts became worthless when dev decide to scam them.
