I'm looking to grab a coin that has solid VC backing! Currently considering ZK and ZRO. What do you guys think?

Does the project invested in by the big VC guarantee that it will rise in the future? Instead, the price has fallen to the bottom. ZK - Zksync ZRO - LayerZero These altcoins have taken a big dive and may have been abandoned by the community because they are no longer hype, if you want to invest why not the top altcoins? For me choose bitcoin investment is much better than altcoins.

Both of their charts are going down if you view it with an overall years of period since they've been launched. I agree with him OP. If you want a major coin, why not go with the top ones or instead before thinking about that. Why not have yourself some Bitcoin that you can afford right now. It doesn't have to be a whole 1 of it.

Both assets have different focuses & advantages. ZKsync (ZK) focuses more on scalability, while LayerZero (ZRO) focuses more on interoperability. Choosing one of those two assets for long-term investment purposes isn't good IMO, there are more good altcoins with low MC that you can choose, choose another one, mate. But if you're forced to choose only one of those two, I'd look at it purely from an economic perspective. Between $ZK & $ZRO, $ZK has the lowest MC, so I'd go with $ZK.

If you’re choosing purely on “major VC-backed,” both fit, but they’re very different bets. ZK is more about scaling + privacy infra, while ZRO is about cross-chain messaging. I’d say ZRO has clearer demand right now because interoperability is being used today, not just promised. Still, both are long-term infra plays, not quick flips.

If you’re choosing purely based on VC backing both fit that box but they play different games ZK is more about scaling Ethereum and zk tech is already being used which gives it some real demand ZRO is more infrastructure focused with cross chain messaging and that’s a long term bet I’d look less at hype and more at token utility and unlock schedules before jumping in.

So i bring you the metric stats by Zk and ZRO. The key difference is that Zk as L2 blockchain of etherem has been sinking very hard. The TVL keeps plummetting, and the chain generates very very small fees. I think this blockchain may not able to operate in long term. Meanwhile, ZRO is a bridging facility that still actively used by many people (include me), which is proving it has stable demand. This means ZRO much more reliable to be used as an investment instead of ZK. ZK as L2 blockchain with no fees generate may be last for a few years, then sunsetting their service. Pick ZRO, it's the good token you can take.

I want to say that a project receiving significant investment from top investment funds like Binance Labs, A16Z, Multicoin Capital, or Coinbase Ventures doesn't guarantee anything. Many projects have received massive investment from top VCs but have still failed, such as Luna and EOS, and many others. Therefore, the idea that choosing and investing in projects heavily funded by VCs will help you minimize risk or generate huge profits is unwise. Therefore, if you want to invest in ZK and ZRO, instead of choosing based on which project receives more funding from VC, evaluate and choose based on their utility and use cases.

Finding VC backed coin is a fancy way to say you want to be the exit liquidity upon unlock . But since you're insisting. I'd prefer ZRO. At least the asset bridging protocol is being used frequently and sought after whenever new blockchain emerge. Zksync is a VC coin through and through from its funding and since VC invested too much, there's great chance that you just gonna be their exit liquidity so a big no for me.
