Happy New Year to all! I stumbled upon this really cool project called Zerebro while browsing online, and it caught my attention right away. It’s an autonomous AI system that creates, shares, and analyzes content on decentralized and social platforms. What’s super interesting is how it mixes fiction with reality to generate narratives that can spread on their own.
With Zerebro starting to get listed on various exchanges, I have a feeling we’re on the brink of something huge. The buzz around its token is already pretty positive, which just adds to the thrill.
What’s your take on this? Are you into AI projects? Let’s chat!
AI is changing the game

The project description is enough to stay away from it, the word AI has become synonymous with useless/scam tokens so it is not considered an advantage to have a project based on AI and decentralized social platforms. As for listing on multiple exchanges, they are promises just like promises of quick riches.
There's no doubt that the development of AI will be huge in the future, but these are just predictions in terms of crypto projects, and every prediction should have a reliable basis in the current market. For instance, in 2024, do we have AI projects that are profitable? What is the success rate of all AI initiatives? If we can dissect positive outcomes from the entire range of AI projects, then it would be fair to consider that AI has significant potential as a crypto investment.
@Op, can we research on such data?

Revolution of AI? Good. But crypto projects using AI as their brand name? Bad.
This is just my personal observation as until now I havent seen any AI projects that are truly successful, at least we know know as it will create some hype. And I think meme coins seem to do better than them, so I doubt theyll make a good investment. (something I would ignore)
it's too bad that instead of having good project, we're always getting these AI gimmick in this crypto space, gone the days when there's good project like RNDR where it actually creates a meaningful platform, like this zerebro, when I opened the site, I don't even know what's this about, yet the mcap is whooping $700m, if you didn't say the coin is AI related, i wouldn't notice but seeing from the site, it's just full of nonsense spammy gibberish if i'm being honest not worth the FDV.

"Zerebro" I will make sure to study it extensively. This is not because I am easily persuaded by all these news projects but because I missed enough opportunities in 2024 by not giving attention to many new projects mentioned in this altcoin section. Some even moved more than 10x in a short time, I won't make that mistake anymore.
Besides, I won't joke with AI and meme coins this year, they are where the risk and money lie, it now depends on our affinity to take the risk and make the money.
I do agree, for now it's better to stay away from AI related project, and in crypto, it could be either scam or the project will be just another pump and dump and just taking of the hype on the AI this days. So nothing has change since the ICO days in 2017-2018, it is still going into vicious cycle.
Hype and then taking advantage and becoming a scam.
And for those who are promising riches and too good to be true offer? I might as well spend my few sats on solid altcoins instead of this wild promises that in turn will give you nothing but sleepless night because you have lost so much money believing that there that thing called easy money here.
Memes will do better only in the short term.
If a project really has utility behind the fuzzy words - it will outlive any new meme out there with a big chance.
I am into AI and looking forward to what it can do to the world. But integrating it with crypto, I don't seem futuristic or optimistic about it.
I feel that I am back to the 2017 ICO era where this has been there as well and trying to associate with various projects being too vocal about AI. But the majority of the projects there were never good and have failed.
And, there has been so much issue with AI nowadays if it's the actual projects that are not into crypto like the whistleblower's sudden death against OpenAI.

AI is a picture of how the future will work, so it's interesting to see AI projects in the crypto industry. I just heard about Zerebro, checked it out on Coinmarketcap & found it ranked high in the AI category.
But what confuses me is when I checked their website, it doesn't look like a professional project that wants to develop a great project. Do you have any other insights on why we should look further into this project?
I didn't invest much time into Zerebro, but I did try out Tophat project - it does create agents that can basically fill up some role in the X and do something according to what you would teach them to do, anything, in fact.
I need to try out Zerebro to judge between the two, but I do see more use cases for what I tried than what I've heard there about Zere.
Sure why not, what I will say is for you or anyone to make concrete research before considering. To answer your other questions, there were several other AI-focused cryptocurrencies that gained attention in 2024, although the profitability and success rates differ for each projects. What I will just conclude with is that conduct thorough research with any possible data you can get your hands on before investing. Happy new year
@OP, you need to be aware that during bull season, so many projects usually cease that opportunity to create new projects on the latest trends. Currently we are in the period of meme coins trend and AI project's trends, if you don't look closely, you might not be able to different between project with good intentions and the ones with bad intentions because they are all going look good to you but with time you will find out those that can stand the test of time and those that can not. Just risk the amount you can afford to lose.
Im kinda lazy when Im not interested in a project, but since you mentioned that some AI projects gained attention last year, I guess you could name a few. Id be willing to verify if they were really successful. Who knows, it might not just be me - others might also get interested in investing in AI coins or tokens.

Assessing both projects is necessary to see which one is better, Zerebro has a fairly high ranking on Coinmarketcap, which proves that there are many holders & people who believe in this project. Then, what about Tophat? I just heard about it, do you have any sources regarding that project, I'd love to see that too.
I totally agree with you, one has to make their research and even after that it also come down to you as an individual whether you are ready to take risk for the project and if you decide to risk then one must manage their risk properly
when I see too many "buzz words" in the same sentence I am a bit skeptical of what they are really doing.
trust new projects like this requires a lot of work and experience to understand if these are really useful.
but the real problem is... there are many of these! not easy at all that a new one will arrive and earn their market cap.
even if big exchange decides to list new coins this not means it will be a "safe success". coins can get delisted, can always be a scam with rugpull and so on.
in this specific case, always pay attention before investing....
I strongly feel that you haven't found that project while scrolling through Google; you are a shill here to promote it. However, I will go ahead and throw my 2 cents on the topic.
A project shouldn't be fascinating to you only because it uses fancy keywords and attractive vocabulary; it should impress you with its team, roadmap, and achievements so far. You can follow a project on their social media handles and channels to stay updated about what they are doing. A good project will always have something going on, and they are going to keep their followers updated about these things since they know this is what matters when it comes to building a community and attracting investors.
A non-serious project will barely have a lot going on. They might try hard to showcase something every now and then, but someone with enough understanding of such things can identify that they are not honest and they are only trying to misguide their followers and falsely attract investors.
So, what you mentioned isn't enough to reach a conclusion that the project is good or has any potential. Do more research, and find more information before you decide.
OK, from my research there was the likes of Ocean Protocol(OCEAN) , SingularityNet(AGIX), Fetch.ai(FET) and many others, so do your due deligence and make research on them
Gen Z is out, Gen Beta is in! Babies born starting this year until 2039 will grow up in a world where AI is deeply integrated into their lives. We're already seeing the rise of AI project trends but in the crypto space these projects often seem less sincere. Thats why its really important to assess the utility and sustainability of the technology behind them. The projects mentioned by OP arent on my radar and I dont have any insights about their base tokens. Lets not just focus on market sentiment but also on their long-term viability.
