So, we’ve got countries like Venezuela and a bunch of other Latin American cartels where a small elite is trying to get rich. A lot of the crime in these places is actually backed by corrupt governments and police. The US and Western countries know that if they want to control the world, they have to do it through economic means. These bankers in the West use a tactic called "honey trap" to lure in dirty money from criminals. Then, they just confiscate it after putting layers of sanctions in place.
It’s pretty clear that many nations are after power, and they think crime is the path to get there. Once they’ve got some capital, they can start making more money from that. The West gets this and makes sure that the money flowing from criminal activities stays in Western banks. This way, those countries can’t build enough wealth to become strong competitors like the Western nations. This pretty much explains all those scandals about laundering dirty money. The elites in the West figured out that if people are going to do bad stuff anyway, they might as well control it while it’s happening.
Look at El Salvador, for instance, along with several others. If the West can keep developing countries, especially those rich in resources, in poverty, they won't have to worry about competition. The West is basically the biggest criminal out there. They’ve been at this for ages, building their wealth through piracy and controlling trade routes across the globe. Now, they’ve turned that into legal power. They don’t commit crimes directly anymore; they just ensure nobody else can get rich too quickly.
